I am so F*****G pissed....If this was any other business this would be completely unacceptable. I truley believe that USCIS should give us ALL A REFUND AND COMPENSATION FOR THE MENTAL AND PHYSICAL TORTURE that we have had to endure for the past 6, 7, 8, 9 OR MORE MONTHS!!!

I am grateful that this is going to get resolved and that I have an explanation. But I am absolutley LIVID that I have had to cry, lose sleep, have my husband and my own health suffer...our RELATIONSHIP suffer! And for what? Because someones pride at the TSC got in the way and they couldn't admit a mistake and fix it? I am so angry I could spit. Compensation is due for their mistake. And they had better pull some strings to make all of our cases at NVC go fast...I mean FAST!! No more waiting for any of us!!

Well said... they just think it is an "inconvenience." i believe those were the exact words. lives have been destroyed.... but hey, what can we do?

Well what can we say about this noa2 approval for somebody who filed on January and got approved on Feb at CSC

Hi everyone! :)

So I haven't updated in a while because I didn't have any news. But I do now. I just checked the status of my I-130 for mom and I saw this message:

Post Decision Activity

On February 7, 2011, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

So that's pretty wild isn't it? From what I've read on here, this seems unusually fast. Obviously, I'm not complaining by any means, I'm just kind of baffled (shocked I guess). So maybe this means there's a possibility that processing times are changing for the better right?

It couldn't be that I'm misunderstanding this message, could it? This is the step before the NVC right?

I understand that the whole filing process is not complete, but they are saying the I-130 is approved. That would mean it took 35 days, as opposed to 5 months.

Please let me know what you guys think. I'm really happy that this process is moving along so quickly.

Thanks

Here's a GREAT song I heard, and decided to record for all those missing their loved ones. 6 tracks of vocals, guitar, bass, synth drums and piano.

This is for VAL, and I am coming home soon honey...

I don't know. I was so excited yesterday I was shaking. Now I'm back down. Depressing. USCIS said my SR request came back that I was still in background clearance and I need to wait 60-120 days, and my congressman just called with the same news.

...and we were told that (in fact we were told 6 months!) the day before we got our approval, so don't worry too much. It's just USCIS with wrongly documented info.
