Hate Crime I WITNESSED Yesterday

I was standing inside of the ALDO shoe store at the Galleria - Tyler Mall in Riverside when this barrage of rocks or glass objects came raining against the large glass window in front of the store. The intended target was an Asian man - probably from India or Bangladesh wearing a hat to cover up his hair for his personal religious reasons.

I personally identify as Christian, but I definitely had his back if anyone would have come out swinging at him. I've had skinheads try to indimidate me several times, and when I showed them I was ready for a good fight, they pulled back EVERYTIME.

I don't know that I very often even cross paths with a skin Head, but you not only cross paths with them but seem to do so, so often you witness them acting out..... multiple times?

Maybe it's a "west coast/ East coast" thing but the few times I have witnesses these types of confrontations, it was most often young Blacks doing the harassing/ or assaulting.

Well anyway I am glad to hear you are willing to come to the defense of someone being attacked, too many people just don't want to get involved.... which in my view is a clear marker of our society in decline.

I don't know that I very often even cross paths with a skin Head, but you not only cross paths with them but seem to do so, so often you witness them acting out..... multiple times?

Maybe it's a "west coast/ East coast" thing but the few times I have witnesses these types of confrontations, it was most often young Blacks doing the harassing/ or assaulting.

There are tons of skinheads near where I live. White Americans feel threatened due to the influx of Latinos and Asians. Most African Americans have moved to the Atlanta region from here.

I was on a Ferry traveling to Helsinki and on to St Petersburg, and I met 3 skinheads who wanted to do damage. I was ready to throw down, and they knew it. I looked at the smallest skinhead that was my size (6'0), and he got intimidated, so although they followed me, my ex-wife, her best friend, and her husband, they just proceeded to stare at us after following us into a bar on the ship.

Here's a q....what makes you assume it's a racially motivated 'hate' crime? maybe the guy cut them off in his car, maybe it was random. Maybe they were targeting someone next to the man. Maybe he was wearing a hat because he felt like it, and it had nothing to do with religious reasons. Could be a lot of things...but if they didn't hurl out racial epithets, how are you certain it was racially motivated?

Though, it sucks no matter what, btw....but that's besides my point.

Riverside has lately been a focal point for interracial tensions. Very sad, but an accepted fact as shown in this newsreel:

My peers told me they wanted to feel less isolated. My Parents generation came here for opportunities they could not find in the South at the time. I like being in Southern California, so I am choosing to stay.

The guys around here are nappy haired white guys into peace and organic vegetables. No rock throwing allowed. But we all carry guns just in case.

"White Americans"? I am a white American who is married to a Colombian and I have an Amerasian child. I better notify them that they both should feel threatened. FYI: skinheads have just as big of a hate against all religions not "their" own, ie, judaism, catholicism, etc.
