I am preparing the big fat 8x page long I-864 package. How did you guys bind the whole package together?

1. One heavy duty stable (I think this is a no no)

2. Stable each document separately and then use a heavy duty binding clip

3. Use an ACCO fastener

Don't worry.

My case is completed with "Case not found" in AVR.

Thekfc has also same issue - No case in AVR.

These type of unlucky persons need to contact the operator every day :star:

Loto

Yep, I still get the "No case in AVR" message.

I already paid both fees & mailed out the respective packages.

I received about 9 emails from NVC - has anyone received that many emails from NVC?

I think after my case is completed it will still not be in the AVR.

I called and speak to a live human every other day with no progress. So I am waiting for a SIF & hopefully an email from them.

I would suggest that you include a summary letter of what you ar sending and list it in order. I stapled the 864 sheets together (Item 1) Tax Returns, w2 and 1099 (item 2), and employer letter ( item 3) etc.. and just just a good strong paper clip to bind all sections together along with the barcode cover page.

Since NVC got my IV package on 11/4, you can get a good idea of when yours will end up in the system when I find out about mine. I'm not expecting mine to be in the system until next Monday. That's 11/15. So set your expectation very, very low.

John,

It's strange that your AOS and IV packet were delivered on 10/22 and it has not been entered in their system yet. At least AOS should have been entered by now. My AOS was delivered on 10/28 and it was entered in system 11/08. You can see my timeline.

Did you speak with supervisor? I suggest you to speak with supervisor at least once a day. It shouldn't really take this long to enter the docs in the system.

You need to get multiple feedbacks from multiple operators to derive the conclusion :star:

John,

I spoke to someone in NVC and they said it normally takes 1 to 2 weeks depending on the work load for your case to be entered in to the system after the mail room receives it. She also said if you have sent the packet a month back and it is not in the system, that could be a problem.

I would wait till the end of this week and by Monday of next week, if it is still not in the system escalate it to a supervisor. Keep calling NVC until you get an operator who is willing to help you.

Also, see if you can send an email ATTN:SUPERVISOR SUE (as she is the Mother Superior of all Supervisors at NVC) explaining your situation.

Good luck with your case and hope you hear something soon

Thanks

I dont even think my case has been entered in the system yet. It was delivered on Oct 22nd and they are still saying same old 2-4 weeks BS.

You never know whether it works or not if you keep debating about it. They are not going to deny your case just because you sent them an email. Just explain to them that you were told that it normally takes 2 weeks for the case to be entered in to their system and that it has been close to 4 weeks (even though it is not and it is more like 3 weeks). They have no way of verifying when you mailed except for the return receipt that you probably have from them. Also, mention to them that people who have sent it after you have their case entered in their system. Tell them you are really worried about your packet having not made it to their systems.

Also, follow it up by escalating your case to a supervisor next week.

Do you think that sending an email to SUE will work in this case? I was told that it would take 2-4 weeks so not sure if that's the case.
