Once issued a K1 Visa, How long it will expire?

Hello Guys,

Once the embassy approved and issued a K1 visa, how long it will expire? Because I was worried that after my interview it will takes time before I can move to US for some reasons.

Need your help pls. I was very worried and confused..Thanks!!:help:

Once the visa is issued you have 6 months to enter the US. Once you've entered the US you have 90 days to get married and file for AOS.

K1 Visa

NO LIMIT on filing AOS

**Edited to add - while there is no limit on when you file AOS, doing so before your I-94 expires so that you remain in status is always the best option. You open yourself up to issues with ICE if you wait

May 15, 2017: NOA1 
June 05, 2017: Biometric Done
June 19, 2017: Case is in Line for an Interview
June 25, 2018: USCIS Scheduled an Interview
Aug. 02, 2018: Interview Date- APPROVED!
Aug. 09, 2018: Oath Ceremony

i didn't realize that we had a whole 6 months! that at least takes some of the immediate pressure off so that he can quit his job appropriately :P that being said, Ali better be on a plane within two weeks of approval or ill kick his butt!

how about the validity of the medical result? does it has expiration? coz im also worried that i might not be able to go to US right away when my visa willl be approve coz my fiance is deployed for 6 long months

Never say no limit. There are limits to everything. Even the number of posts made by :whistle: in one day on VJ.
