(AP) Police say break-ins at two fur farms have set more than 50,000 minks on the loose in northern Greece.

A statement from local police says the break-ins occurred Friday and Saturday near the city of Kastoria, which is the center of Greece's fur industry.

Regional TV channels showed farm employees chasing the animals with fishing nets on Monday.

The National Fur Breeders' Association says most of the released animals are likely to die in the late-August heat. It says the cost to the farm owners could pass euro1 million ($1.27 million).

No group has claimed responsibility for the incident. But an animal rights group, calling itself the "Hawks of Reprisal," said it was responsible for a similar break-in last year.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

Another daily reminder of the wackos on the left.

Laws, Private property Rights .... they mean nothing.....for them it's "law by decree".

Seeing as no group has taken responsibility and there is nothing stated in the OP, your assesment is fairly ignorant, and devoid of supporting facts Danno, even for your standards.

Great news. All of the mink will soon die. They are predators who do not know how to be predators. I guess animal rights activists prefer they die from starvation.

In case I am wrong...the voracious predators will kill other animals in order to survive. Any way you cut it, a lot of animals are going to die.

Maybe it was 124, I can't remember. I'll Google it and post a few charts, graphs and international studies. Maybe even throw in a street view or two.

You are right, what good are various sources to prove a point versus your opinion. Your one example of a town of 6,000, received an E for effort though. Apparently articles discussing single incidents are okay though right?

You must have missed the thread where I spoke to a guy born and raised in Newton Boston, was saying how awesome Australia is. That I was stupid to move to the US. Also a Harvard grad might I add. So you will need to add using the experience of others to your above list too. ;)

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

Why don't you start another whining thread in site related discussions where you complain about everyone that does what you do? Why, I'm really impressed, you spoke to one person from Newton, I guess that makes it a majority. He was right about the stupidity, I'll give him credit for that.

You can't admit when you're wrong. You always change the subject or dispute the information, even when a credible link is provided. Everyone here is on to you. You live in a world of make believe, and that's fine. Some of us are actually out there in the real world and don't live by google alone.
