Unfortunately, the signatures have to be originals. Submitting a copy of a signature will only delay the process even more until you are able to get a signature. You can fax the document to her or she can download it and complete it herself, then you/she will have to arrange the physical delivery of the original signed form to you so it can be submitted to USCIS.

You may wish to have her complete several copies and mail them back to you all separately so that there is the good chance of at least one getting through. In spite of the expense, you may wish to use a courier service as they may be more reliable than the mail.

yes there is but mail sevice is very unreliable and things get lost all the time add to that it will take long time to get hear.

Go for other way. Your wife in Iraq mails you just signed, but a blank G-325A and you fill it up and mails to USCIS. Will this work?

Loto

That's actually what I did with my wife's G-325A. She really had a hard time getting it filled out properly, so I just had her send me signed blanks along with a form she filled it and I filled it out for her, correctly formatted. I hope USCIS doesn't have a problem with that...I just transcribed the information she sent with my own handwriting into the correct format. She made lots of simple mistakes like writing in cursive (when I told her to print) and leaving gaps in dates when she was unemployed...I think I shaved about 4 months off the back and forth mailing by just filling it out for her that way. I still haven't submitted the package yet...Monday I will.

To 'drop it in the mail', to you -

So, what happens when SHE drops it off at a big postal office, for international mail, expedited service?

or

what happens when she shows up, in person, at DHL/Fedex/UPS office, for international courier service ?

IMO, things 'don't get lost' in Iraq when ya get to the 'big office' to drop it off/pay fees for delivery.

Sure, it's IRAQ, but come on - get to the 'big place', pay yer monies, go forth.

SHE can get into internet cafe, get and print the forms she needs (no need for you to mail anything to her, at all)

You think this is rough, now? What are you going to do for her civil documents on the DS-230 ?

I am so glad I read this tonight. I did not realize that it has to be the original form and signature when I send it in.:blush: thanks!!!
