I became u.s citzen in may and i sent my wife's aos right away.she is french of african origin,she came on vwp in 2000 therfore ovrstayed by 10 years.we been married for 8 years,we have 8 year old,6 and 3 years old.we had our interview on august 18 in las vegas,it was painless,he just went over the application and told us he will recomend us for approval.we just arrived home and i got e-mail for new card been ordered. today,i got wellcome letter and i-130 approval.i want to share this for all of you who are wondering if vwp can be approved,it can happen.stay strong and pray.

Congratulations, africa! Great news! We have heard some stories lately about VWP overstays not being approved, I'm not sure if they had other factors coming into play or if the IO's are not applying guidelines consistently, but I am sure happy to hear your wife got approved! kicking.gifkicking.gifkicking.gif

If you don't mind my asking, what state do you live in? I'm testing a theory a few immigration attorneys have about USCIS offices in specific federal appeals court districts, and I'm wondering if you don't live in a state covered by one of those district courts.

If you don't mind my asking, what state do you live in? I'm testing a theory a few immigration attorneys have about USCIS offices in specific federal appeals court districts, and I'm wondering if you don't live in a state covered by one of those district courts.

i am about to file my application for adjustment. I have been out of status since 1998. Maybe its different when you have United citizen children?

24th March 2012!!!!!!!!!!! Email notifiying me of CARD IN PRODUCTION
03/26/2012 (Day 376) Emails confirming that my I-130 and I-485 have been approved.

4/2/2012 Green Card In Hand!

Unbelievable that my journey took this long but Im thankful

Next Stop Premed...Yup!

3/24/2014 Application for conditions to be removed

9/22/2014 APPROVED without interview.
