Well, unfortunately I can't join the rest of you in the exciting APPROVED celebration! :( My husband needs to go back to the Embassy after December 1st. I'm totally bummed...but am hanging in there. I will post more info later, as I get a better understanding of what happened. Thanks for all of your well wishes...I know that the next time will be smooth sailing...what's one more month when this process takes FOREVERRRRR?!

WE Were APPROVED. I am so happy. Now just waiting for the visa to come in the mail through DomEX!!!! the Interview was only like 5 Mins if that... but we waited 6 hours for our interview!!!!! The officer did not ask my husband many questions, just me. very simple things like.

How many times did i come to the Dominican Republic?

Do I have Family here?

Why did we get married?

Why didn´t any of my Family come to the Wedding in Dominican Republic?

Do we have any children together?

Do we have any other children?

¨Show me proof of your relationship¨

¨You are Aprroved and that is it. take the ticket to the desk and pay the Domex Fee¨

Want to update fellow VJers - we're approved!!!

will submit review soon, actually finished without any difficulties but it lasted for 3 hrs.

Congratulations!!!! Hopefully the 3 hours was mostly waiting and not interrogation. All is well in the CCNKC house.... :dance::dance:

Yeah the misses tried to call me tonight but I have the phone in the other room and didnt hear it ring. I could hear her disappointment on the answering machine. I emailed her to tell her I was home but I dont know if she has access to email at the moment. Such is life...

Well, my husband was rejected as we thought he would be. He had visited the US once after being convicted of a "crime of moral turpitude" and his misrepresentation is what the interviewer leaned on most during his very short time with her. He is eligible to apply for a I-601 Waiver which we already started and is almost ready to go. So, back to waiting another 4 to 6 months. Please pray that he will be approved.
