It says that in Nebraska Service center it take only a fw months to bring a married son over but california several yers , what is the deal

maybe that's the date of the I-130 approval, right now the actual visas for married child of USC is January 2006 besides Mexico and PHilipines. REfer to the national visa center visa bulletin http://travel.state.gov/visa/bulletin/bulletin_5113.html

I-130 Sent : 08/15/2006 F2A (spouse of LPR)

I-130 Approved : 03/29/2010

04/30/2010 - Mailed out

06/02/2010 - RFE

08/11/2010 - Interview Date - APPROVED

08/23/2010 - Green Card at Home :)

Hubby's USC

06/08/2010 - Email & phone mess with case number.

06/07/2010 - Checks cashed

06/11/2010 - NOA Date

06/21/2010 - Biometrics letter

Don't count on a few months. We filed for my wife's unmarried daughter 2 years ago and a few months ago finally got notice to send the I-864 as the case was ready for review at NVC.

If at first you don't succeed, then sky diving is not for you.

Someone stole my dictionary. Now I am at a loss for words.

Ban shredded cheese. Make America Grate Again .

US Citizen filing the petition?

Pay attention to the VISA Bulletin, published monthly, instead of the CSC notices .

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

MY mom petitioned my two younger brothers under F2B category last March 14,2010 to California Service Center and the other day we rcvd the approval notice dated August 11,2010. thats five months. the only bad part is that i have to wait for the visa availability . F2B Philippines is now 2002.

I'm under F2B category from philippines. The visa bulletin posted Aug 1, 2002 as cut-off date. My PD is Nov 2003. I just want to know your views on my case.

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.
