My question is, is there any other country in the world where a creation museum of this type would get built? My bet is no, not even in Afghanistan, anyone like to up the anti?

Good question. I wonder what science museums are like in a country like Morocco where the majority (I think) still believe in creationism.

I would doubt it, the leading elite in countries such as Morocco set a store in proving that they are as educated and up to date as the 'first world' nations, so having a 'backward thinking' museum would be highly unlikely - at least that's my opinion.

Maybe only a handful. It's a credit to American freedom of religion and a discredit to the American mentality.

Seems there are a few scattered: UK, Germany, Turkey, Hong Kong, US has the most.

The UK has one, imagine that.

That's freaky! Seriously, I would never have thought it. However, it's bound to be some poky little hole somewhere, not something as glorious as the US concoction ;)

Wow, sounds to me like the UK really sucks!

Certainly not worth moving back to in order to escape creationism...

here's a link to the museum's site http://creationmuseum.org/

So every time I'd visit my sister in Cinci I'd catch those billboards advertising the place... I obviously know of it from my Evo friends poking fun at such nonscience but hey... IMO they have a complete right to mix religion and science as they see fit no matter how off they really seem to be.

Wishing you ten-fold that which you wish upon all others.

Yes, I support intolerance. Why are you so antagonistic? I find insanity on display rather entertaining.

Good point about paying though. I wouldn't want to give these people money either.

Did't intend antagonism! I misread your post as well! Let me know if you score free tickets we can go have a laugh together.
