Hello again :)

We're just putting the finishing touches on part 1 of the K1 visa. And as far as I've read all I need from my fiancee(AUS) is

1.2 pp photos

2. A letter of intent

3. The bio form

And of course any pictures that he has and evidence of oor relationship right???!?!?

Just making sure I didn't skip over anything.

Much thanks for your reply <3

Please change your country of beneficiary to Australia and have a look at the links in my signature which are Australia specific links which should help immensely when he gets to the visa part of the process.

Right now you are not filing for a visa, you are PETITIONING for permission for your fiance to apply for a visa in his home country. When the petition is approved you will get NOA2 then the file is sent to Australia where they will request him to send documents in order for him to apply for the visa.

Good luck!

You are correct from the beginning. Those items are needed for the petition which is the I-129F form. Then people misunderstood your question and started adding other things not required from the foreign beneficiary.

Depending on circumstances, the only other thing that might be required from the alien beneficiary is proof of eligibility to marry if he/she was previously married. So that means providing a death certificate if the spouse died or a divorce certificate if they divorced. You must state both people are eligible to marry NOW and if one or both were previously married, provide documents showing why they are now eligible to marry.

Yes all of those things need to be included in your petition packet and all that require the beneficiary's signature will have to be sent to you via post before you submit anything.

Not quite true - I had to supply 3 pp photos for my Australian medical - and then the further 2 with the DS forms sent in prior to interview.
