Another Reason to not Keep Your Nudie Pics on Your Computer

Tara Fitzgerald of Sacramento needed help. The nude photos she had taken for her boyfriend were nowhere to be found on her computer, so she called Dell in December 2008. She was patched through to support tech Riyaz Shaikh, an employee of call service center in India, and gave him permission to search her PC remotely. What happened next was horrifying, said Fitzgerald:

"I watched him take the pictures out of my e-mail. I watched him."

More than a dozen of those pictures ended up on a site called "bitchtara." Shaikh offered his "help" again, allegedly telling Fitzgerald he could work on taking down the site if she sent him a brand new Dell laptop. Fitzgerald agreed:

"And I'm telling myself, my conscience is talking to me saying, 'Tara, don't send this. What are you doing? Are you crazy?' I sent it anyways because I really believed in this guy. I really had faith that he was protecting my dignity."

Both Fitzgerald and reporter George Warren of News10 have contacted Dell about the situation, but the company has yet to respond. To read more about Fitzgerald's story, go to News10 and KGO-TV.

good reason for having no business with persons who are not your social and economic equal. a person who owns a suburban home full of valuable property is not often seen letting impoverished ghetto types into their home. yes?

most of the call center guys in india make about 10-25% of US wage, and electronics are more expensive there than here. suitable housing is also very expensive in most cities, as there just isn't much available, and not enough to go around. it's a seller's market in hyderabad, which is a backwater $hitho!e, and where dell's call centers operate. i've been there and seen it up close and personal. not a place i would ever be willing to go to again, no matter how much they paid me.

StupidTara is more like it.

1. She doesn't know how to search for pics on her PC.

2. She sends him a laptop.

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."

Actually, it's a good reason to not let strangers remote into your machine.

So if we take the usual level of paranoia, apply it to Criminal Minds logic, and add Shooter ™ Logic, 41% of India's population are serial killers?

I agree whe was very stupid to allow someone to do that and remote her PC.

Second never keep personal files on your PC use the portable hardives out there to keep items like that

Third if you have nudies on your PC especially of yourself and children are allowed on the PC; you are endangering your freedom. Even if you have the files in a secure folder, better to keep seperate from the PC.

She's a big bag of stupid.

She's also apparently posted some of her own trashy pics around the internet. Very classy, this one.
