I have been touched like a doorknob over the last months. Over 16 times.

Unfortunately, that has not yielded an NOA-2 yet.

Touches are a good indicator that your petition file is in the works and is not lost. So that is good.

But, with that said, some get approved with few or no touches. The touch could indicate that your file is moving from stack to stack or is being moved to the "rubber stamper" area. Hopefully, the latter.

We finally received the email today acknowledging they had received our RFE (it took over a month).

Regarding touches, I remember working in a large governmental department many years ago as a temp. There was a guy who used to patrol up and down the building with a little hand held scanner, scanning every file and desk he came across. Continually tracking the location and movements of every file. I can only imagine that is what the unexplained touches are.

William it must be so frustrating for you. 16 touches that's just crazy. And KitKat I know how you feel. I've had very few touches and sometimes I fear my file fell off the desk and has been lost :(

What? It took a month for them to acknowledge your IMBRA RFE? That is ridiculous!!

How did you mail it? Was "RFE response" written on the outside of the envelope or package?

Touched yesterday and this early evening.

God be Merciful.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.
