I sent my I-129F packet on July 7th, the check was cashed on July 17th and I received the NOA1 hard copy July 22st but it is dated 7/16. I notice some people are posting when they've been touched... How do you know?! I went to the USCIS site to check my status but it says my 13 digit number (beginning with WAC) isn't in the system. How can I check for status updates? How can I find out if my case has been touched?

Thanks to anyone who gets back to me.... I'm so happy to have a community full of people going through the same thing I am... makes me feel like it's all possible. :-)

I mailed our i-129f petition to Vermont CSC on the 14th. No response and my check hasn't been cleared/cashed yet. So frustrating.

Received July 19th, notice date July 22nd.

looks like only 1 lucky couple get their NOA2 so far. most june filers havent get their NOA2 yet. so let's hope sep will be our month.

It took ten days for us to receive our NOA1 hardcopy. My check cleared before receipt. Now that things are going to Texas first then sent to the processing center, it may take some time. I wouldn't worry just yet. The check cleared and that's a good sign. If something was wrong, they wouldn't have cashed the check.

Texas processes the payments. Once that is done it is forwarded to the appropriate service center (California or Vermont). See the following link:

Send package off in July, NOA1 received 9 Aug, check cashed 17 Aug.
