Only the bare essentials - including passports and wallets - will be allowed to be carried on board in transparent plastic bags.

Good. Boarding the plane will be quick. I HATE those people that block the aisle while they fumble with their bags. CLEAR THE AISLE MORON!!

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."

Well they are saying here in airport security that the overall end-effect big deal is going to be no liquids on planes. I for one am dreading a plane ride with no eye drops or contact solution, not being able to bring my own hair products, not being able to bring my own beverages (seriously, I need more water than what any airline is willing to give me) and not being able to bring liquid products down to Brazil as gifts.

The only thing I'm skeptical about is the timing of information being released

HA, I knew it.

Yeah, I'm skeptical about the media. I thought you thought the media was a liberal machine or something? Yet I'm still a theorist?

Maybe Bush runs the media

1. Contact solution .. hmm don't know cause dont need it but I understand its important.

2. Hair products?? DO you do your hair on the plane?

3. You can ask for any beverage you want on international flights.. just gotta ask.

I don't do my hair on the plane but I do do it once I get to my destination! I have rather unruly locks.

But as to duty free, they're not sure if any liquid products will be sold past security check-in (where duty-free shops are). I hope so! The shop owners are going crazy trying to comply with new regulations.

Maybe this is a conspiracy started by the airlines so we have to buy more beverages?????

It is going to be a pain to not have ####### in a carry-on, but I guess we will just have to put things in our bags & check them all. I wouldn't be suprised if one day-it gets to the point where we can't bring ANYTHING on the plane-seriously :o

Wear glasses on the flight.

Hair products while you fly? You really that vain? Geez.

Listen, contact solution is very expensive in Brazil (unless you buy generic which irritates my eyes). I just wanted to bring my own down. GEEZ.

Believe it or not. I actually think of other people is public situations.

1. I don't fill out the bank envelope, in my car, at the ATM.

2. I don't drive slow in the fast lane.

3. I don't merge like a 90 year old woman. (get up to the speed of traffic!)

4. I don't block the entire aisle with my shopping cart.

5. I do signal before changing lanes.

6. I NEVER have more than 10 items in the 10 items or fewer line.

I don't have patience in general though.

Well that's how it is in Britain today. I don't check my bags anymore after getting them lost 1k times, I just travel light, but from now on I think I'm going to have to carry it all on liquid free, provided they don't prohibit that too.
