Hi, I hope someone can enlighten me on the following. I have just receive a letter in the mail on Monday from USCIS that my case was transfer to to CSC on June 2. Case transfer to CSC usually means faster processing and no interview. But today, when I go online to USCIS website to check on status update, it says the following 'The I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS was transferred and is now being processed at a USCIS office.' What does this mean? Does it means that my case was transfer back to the local USCIS office here (in Miami)? It didn't specifically said '....being processed at a/your LOCAL USCIS office.' Or my case is still pending in CSC? This is a little confusing for hubby and me.

Oh, that's good then. Hubby and I are always confused with the going on of the I-485. Hopefully everything will go smoothly from now onwards.

Thank you so much for the quick reply!

It's as they said.

Also, please add your timeline to your "about me" section or "signature" of your profile to refrain from posting it directly into a msg. To do this go to settings up on the top right, then select the profile tab and click either signature or "about me".

Good luck and congrats on the transfer.

Hi, mine was filed in chicago on November 25, 2009 then it was transferred to california service center on december 23, 2009. exactly 6 months when i called the customer service line and they told me my application is outside of processing time then they gave me a service id number and told me to wait within 5 days for a letter for me to received from them to tell me about whats going on about my application, then it was over then i called again they told me to wait 45 days for them to process my application, and i cant wait that long, so now i already made the infopass and i will have to talk to immigration officer on June 17 in louisville field office because i want them to give me a details and whats really happening.

it sound unfair for those who wait for almost 6 months and keep us waiting.

Hi, wow...

anything new after June 17' infopass??

Also, sorry for off-topic, but could you please tell me how to call the customer service line? (the only way I know is to call USCIS 1-800-375-5283 and then choose "change address" option, so you could talk to a real person...last time i did it they kind of emphasized that this was for change of address only, but still tracked my case for me...Just wondering if there is a better way...

Thank you so much

Good luck
