No Biometrics appt. at all. No touches since 6/03, what gives? Are we really not able to call anyone or see what the progress is on our case? I mean reallyyyyyy we are at the mercy of the USCIS and we're just supposed to sit here and hope our case isn't at the bottom of a landfill or anything??

Read recent May Filers thread. They are struggling to get Bio letter. You are close to May, so maybe you are in same boat...?

Read recent May Filers thread. They are struggling to get Bio letter. You are close to May, so maybe you are in same boat...?

You can find helpful information about not getting biometrics, like "how to contact" etc... :)

went and walked in for my biometrics today.. wasnt anyone in there.. walked from the counter right to the back..

now I dont have to worry about getting off work to drive 4 hours home to get it done.

Hubby spoke with a real live person at the USCIS. Not everyone has to have a biometrics done is what they told him. Is this the case with some? :unsure:

Hi there

I am still waiting for my biometrics letter to come, it seems liek USCIS is stopped sending them.

I will going on vacation in Sept for 22 days, and am worried that I will miss the biometrics appointment, what if they sent the letter when I go on the trip, and appointment is within the date I was travelling too. What should I do if I really missed it?

Hubby spoke with a real live person at the USCIS. Not everyone has to have a biometrics done is what they told him. Is this the case with some? :unsure:

I don't think this right, a lot of times wrong information is given to the callers. I would try calling again or just wait for your biometrics appoinment letter.

Everyone removing conditions must have their fingerprints taken, that is why you also pay a fee.

7.14.07 - Received NOA1 (WOW after 6 weeks, I was worried...called INS and told me CSC had a computer "glitch" causing delays on printing Receipt notices and approvals)

10.30.07 - APPROVED No email, the NOA2 came in the mail...hard copy.

11.21.07 - APPROVED!!!! APPROVED. GOT AN E-MAIL ON THANKSGIVING!

5.13.08 - Approval Email for EAD (so the card was ordered first, and then we were approved...hum)

8.08.08 - WE GOT OUR INTERVIEW APPOINTMENT YAY...9/12/08 - INTERVIEW APPROVED

9.24.08 - Received Green Card in the mail YEAH!
