Congratulations! I'm about 12 weeks along, due February 18th. One site I would recommend if you would like to join an on line due date club and compare notes with other moms due the same month as you is:

http://www.justmommies.com/

C l i c k on "Pregnancy and Parenting Message Boards" on the top menu to get to the message forums and due date clubs.

(I know babycenter.com has due date clubs too, but there are so many people there you get lost in the shuffle.)

Thanks for the website link. Babycenter is one busy place and it's really slow on my computer too!

We don't want to wait too much longer. :) Hoping to start trying within 6-8 months from now, we'll see. First I was going to wait to go to India to meet Sujeet's family after I had a baby, but now we are planing to go in Feb or so, before I have a baby, so we're putting plans on hold.

Married since 9-18-04(All K1 visa & GC details in timeline.)

My husband didn't get the big V because he is a wuss :P

Good for you! Children suck.

We have six boys between us. From day one we both agreed we wanted no more children. Three years into this, lots of yes/no/maybe/what if's, threats of death on us both from my mother and many sarcastic jokes later (let's just say we were leaning more towards the no side of this) we have decided when he gets home I will be going to the doctor with him in tow to make sure I am healthy enough to try for one of our own. Call us crazy, cuz I think we are! I blame it on the immigration process, we got all emotional this past week and don't ask me how we came to the conclusion that yes indeed we wanted a child together.

Not sure when or if this will happen, we have so many other things we have to do first. If it is meant to be it will be.

OK, here's a question. My fiance wants to start trying before she gets her VISA, but I think we should wait due to the uncertainty of USCIS processing time. What do you think? I don't want her to come here when she's 6 months pregnant.

We'd like to have one of our own, but we have my daughter...my husband is raising her as his own...so if we aren't able to have one, at least we have our daughter.
