hello to all VJ users,

I've had my aos interview today May 24, 2010 in Centennial Immigration Office located in Colorado. my schedule was 8:45AM and my husband and I arrived at 8:30AM..when we got there they first asked my notice of appointment and the officer told me to go to 2nd floor. We waited for about 35 minutes until the IO called me. They asked some evidences like marriage certificate, health insurance card from my husband with me as beneficiary, tax returns, utility bills, and joint accounts but we didnt have joint account yet although we already set up a joint account but the bank will give us the records after 5 days of filing and we went to the bank only last May 22, 2010. So the IO was asking my husband how come we just filed an account last week since we got married last Dec. 2009? I was a little bit nervouz cuz my husband said he didnt file cuz it is not a requirement for a marriage to have a joint account. Originally we had plan before we will have a separate account in the bank and soon as i get my green card and have a job thats the time we set up joint account in the bank..But anyway the IO told me my conditional green card will arrived within a month so i was so glad to hear from him. He congratulated us. my interview lasted about 20 minutes. I am so happy!!

Congrats on the successful interview. My wife, son, and I had our interview at 7:45am today - the 28th; and left by 8:10 very unhappy. Because my wife did not speak fluent English, we were dismissed with a notice to bring a translator to the next interview date; which will be several weeks in the future.

I am glad 2 people had positive experiences this week to offset the completely horrible experience we had to suffer through. :P
