Hello! I just got off the phone with NVC to inquiry about a possible interview date and to my surprise:

Interview date scheduled for July 16, 2010 at Mumbai for 7:30 am

I'm so exicted!!! I just wish that it was early July......but still I'm so happy!!! :dance::dance::dance::dance::dance:

Hey Congratulations! Don't try to stress too much. Although I'm sure that is easier to say than it is to do! LOL

I used notarized letters, on I-130 submittal. Yer asking about 'interview day'.

My interpretation of the I-130 instructions was that the letters must be notarized. It's been some time, though.

Thanks. I didn't have any to send with the 130 because we filed from Jordan.

I will take whatever I have, whether they are notarized or not. It can't hurt!

I just called to ask about the interview, and she said it was "very rare" anyone got a date this week of the month! Makes me feel much better... NOT!

So I asked if it would be the week of June 7 and she said she thought it was June 14 because of the way the dates fall!

Anyone else have any idea which week in June?

It's a good question. I was thinking that I would be informed of a interview date the 2nd week of June. To my surprise, the operator told me the appointment date today (although, I haven't received an email yet). It would be nice if they would let us know when they "actually" do schedule for interviews. From my experience at NVC, everytime that I call them about something relating to my case, they tell me to call back 2-3 weeks later. I would get so frustrated and would call back 2-3 days later and to my surprise, it was received, completed. etc. So moral of story, just call, call and call....

I didn't get our interview the first 2 weeks of this May. It was on the 3rd week that we received the interview. I suppose anything is possible. Usually they say they schedule the first 2 weeks of every month. Goodluck though. Hope you get your interview date soon :star:

RabRiz: My case was completed on May 18. The message on the AVR still displays the message of "Case Complete." It hasn't changed to reflect that I was assigned a date. I called up NVC to inquire about whether they assigned an interview date and surprisingly I was told it was for July 16. I see from your timeline, that your CC was on May 19. Perhaps your interview date will be assigned soon, hopefully tomorrow or later on this week. I will definitely post something on the thread that you started. Good luck to you.
