Hope all is well with everyone. I wanted to get feedback about the DS-230. I filled out the DS-230 02-2009 which it stated that it doesn't expire until 2012,but when I called the NVC to see if my case was completed I was told that my husband sign the wrong form and the one he sign is now obsolete and that he needs to sign form DS-230 02-2010 WTH,

I don't have a cover sheet with barcode and wanted to know how would I word the revised DS-230 (COVER SHEET) and who do I make Attn: to, and also once received how much longer does it take for case to complete, I pray that this doesn't slow us down from receiving a June interview. Thanks you in advance for your feedback... :help::help::help:

if you used the online payment portal, you can re-generate yer own barcode coversheet.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

I download it from the USCIS website. I was told that the newer DS-230 was revised, I really don't see a big difference in the older DS-230 except it ask you for your e-mail address,so please make a note that the new DS-230 form is DS-230 02-2010.

I know the feeling I'm also hoping for a June interview and it seem like it is taking forever. My DS230 was entered in the system on 4/12 and it isn't complete yet I hope I hear something soon. If it was RFe do you think I would have heard something already?

Is the new DS230 with or WITHOUT the email address?

i perfectly understand your comments. there is a fine line between anxiety, panic, and sillyness. i just joined today and already posted several questions some of which i get confused of because of "overthinking."

when i started my journey, i told myself keep it simple, read the instructions... then sometimes, the more you know, the more you get confused as well... good thing there's VJ.

So true triaxxx. I tried to "keep it simple" but I don't think the process will let you. There are things that aren't explicitly written that I've had to learn from VJ. Thank goodness for the site!

Yes My DS-230 was entered into the system on 4/13 and when I called the NVC on 4/19 I spoke with a live rep. and that's when I was told that the wrong form was filled out and that my husband would have to to fill out the newer form which is DS-230 02-2010, well I just mailed it again today so lets see how much longer this take because if I don't receive a June interview I'm going to go .Please make sure it's the form that states DS-230 02-2010 that asks for your e-mail address and also question #20 is trickie make sure the formate is 00/0000 to PRESENT starting at the age of 16 that was the other issue I was having :hehe: so if your love one was born in April of "2000" it should be 4/2000 to Present as far the places they have lived of eles RFE :crying::crying::crying: HOPE THIS HELPS......
