CASE complete NVC how long before they mail to Embassy

Timeline

Just wondering. (Filed a CR1 NVC Processing)

I checked the AVR today and said that my case had been complete on NVC. how long it takes for them to forward case to embassy should I called them and ask? thanks

I think they send the bulk of the cases out on wednesdays, but you can call and ask them to see if it is still at the NVC. I know I read somewhere that they will not forward to the embassy unless they have an interview schedule for the case. Congrats on the case complete though. Only the interview left.

16 March 2012 Sent I-751 package from Aviano AB, Italy.

29 March 2012 Received everything back...wrong fee. thought we didn't have to pay biometrics since we were sending fingerprint cards and passport photos.

30 March 2012 Sent everything out again from Aviano AB, Italy.

10 April 2012 Check cashed

17 April 2012 Received NOA1 dated 6 April.

06 Dec 2012 Received 10 yr green card. Letter said it was approved 28 November 2012.

^^ And this will depend on how busy your particular embassy/consulate is; it can vary from country to country.

Hey Everyone,

Thanks for the positive vibes. We are waiting consular processing in Bogota, Colombia. According to your experience it seems that they will actually scheduale an interview first and then they will mail the papers? is this right. Or they mail the papers and then I get an interview. I check the Embassy web pageTh since they publish online the appointments for the following month.
