Dear Lord,

Help Ania and me to deal with life on your terms. Help me to understand that all is your will. Give me strength each day to put the outcome of our petition in your hands. I pray that all will be well. I pray that we will be together soon. Help Ania in her time of need as she waits to hear something. God, give me strength to except the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference. Thy will be done, not mine!!

Amen

Dear Father, please help Andy. He rejects his past and has turned to you. Please accept his broken spirit and contrite heart. Lord Jesus, you healed the sick while you walked this earth. Please have compassion on Andy and everyone else here who seeks to touch the hem of your garment. We have that tiny mustard seed of faith that you can heal us.

This thread is very uplifting and needed to those in dispair and currently entangled in the large web of this process. Rest assured that offering your prayer to your god no matter your beliefs you will never receive a an IMBRA, RFE, or Denials from our heavenly father.

I am reminded of the words from the New Testament in Mathew v7 "Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you"

We have filed our petitions and we ARE asking. Many of us have filed RFE's, some more than once, we have paid our fees, we Have knocked.

Now we pray that it is opened to us.

Thank you for your ecouraging words this morning.

Novena to Our Lady of Hope

“I am the mother of fair love, and of fear, and of knowledge, and of holy hope. In me is all grace of the way and of the truth; in me is all hope of life and of virtue. Come to me all that desire me and be filled with my fruits (Sirach 24:24-26). “

O Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of Grace, Hope of the world. Hear us, your children, who cry to you

Let Us Pray: O God, who by the marvelous protection of the Blessed Virgin Mary has strengthened us firmly in hope, grant we beseech You, that by persevering in prayer at her admonition, we may obtain the favors we devoutly implore. Through Christ Our Lord. Amen.

Prayer to Our Lady of Hope

O Mary, my Mother, I kneel before you with heavy heart. The burden of my sins oppresses me. The knowledge of my weakness discourages me. I am beset by fears and temptations of every sort. Yet I am so attached to the things of this world that instead of longing for Heaven I am filled with dread at the thought of death.

O Mother of Mercy, have pity on me in my distress. You are all-powerful with your Divine Son. He can refuse no request of your Immaculate Heart. Show yourself a true Mother to me by being my advocate before His throne. O Refuge of Sinners and Hope of the Hopeless, to whom shall I turn if not you?

Obtain for me, then, O Mother of Hope, the grace of true sorrow for my sins, the gift of perfect resignation to God's Holy Will, and the courage to take up my cross and follow Jesus. Beg of His Sacred Heart the special favor that I ask in this novena.

(Make your request.)

But above all I pray, O dearest Mother, that through your most powerful intercession my heart may be filled with Holy Hope, so that in life's darkest hour I may never fail to trust in God my Savior, but by walking in the way of His commandments I may merit to be united with Him, and with you in the eternal joys of Heaven. Amen.

Mary, our Hope, have pity on us.

Hope of the Hopeless, pray for us.

Here are link to two other novenas that I hope some of you will like.

http://www.catholicdoors.com/prayers/novenas/p00048.htm

I have had my wishes/prayers answered before by praying the novena of St. Therese of the Child Jesus.

http://www.2heartsnetwork.org/Rita.htm

The novena to St. Rita is new to me but that is the first novena that i saw when i felt so hopeless about my inability to get one of the required documents for my K1 petition.

Thank you for starting this forum and posting the link about the candles. I just lit my candle. (F)

Saint Anthony has always helped me and here's a prayer for him in English. Different from the one I have in Portuguese but he'll listen I'm sure.

St. Anthony, Help me find ways to honor God's blessings by showing my love for all of God's creatures. Share your strength that I may cope with the trials and troubles of daily life. You, through whose voice the Word of God was preached, intercede for my need (mention your special request here). Powerful Patron, be with me always and teach me to reach out in love and support to others.

Amen

************************************

Unfailing Prayer to

Saint Anthony

Blessed be God in His Angels and in His Saints.

O Holy St. Anthony, gentlest of Saints, your love for God

and Charity for His creatures made you worthy, when on

earth, to possess miraculous powers. Miracles waited on

your word, which you were ever ready to speak for those in

trouble or anxiety. Encouraged by this thought, I implore

of you to obtain for me (request). The answer to my prayer

may require a miracle. Even so, you are the saint of

Miracles.

O gentle and loving St. Anthony, whose heart was ever full

of human sympathy, whisper my petition into the ears of the

Sweet Infant Jesus, who loved to be folded in your arms, and

the gratitude of my heart will ever be yours.

Amen. (Say 13 Paters, Aves, and Glorias)

1 Thessalonians 6:16-18 "Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus."

What's joyful about our process? Learning dependence on the Sovereign King; putting Him first; delighting in Him.

Pray continually(or without ceasing as some translations say): No problem!

Give thanks in all circumstances: Thankful that we have our loved onces and we can communicate with them. But more than that, thankful for Christ's death and resurrection. That through that act God has proved he loves our loved ones more than we ever could. Someone said to me, "God knows our needs. It's our prayers that acknowledge our reliance on Him."

Dear Jesus,

I know you already know the longing in our hearts to be with the ones we love so much. Lord, I ask that you will give wisdom to those who are taking care of all the papers and evidence we have sent in. We know that you will grant us the blessing, as long as we ask You for them. So I pray that you will hepl us to be patient, but yet have our NOA's 2 as soon as possible and on Your time.

May Your Name be glorified through this.

Our most gracious Heavenly Father.....

All Praise and Glory to the one true God.....

Daddy, I thank you, you have taken us off the potter's wheel after spinning us for so long. Mold us, shape us into your likeness. How mercifull You are, my Father, my Daddy. Thank you for the touch yesterday from CSC. I pray your angels are protecting every application , please see to it they fall into good hands, that we may be approved, believers and non believers alike, in that we can all give you the Glory, and take no credit for ourselves.

I remeber the revelation you gave me, 2 Corinthians 1: 20....." For no matter how many promises God has made, they are " yes " in Christ. and so thru Him the "Amen" is spoken by us to the glory of God. "

Thank you, also for the revelation of Hebrews 11: 27.

Bless the name of the Lord.....

In Jesus name,

Amen and Ameen.

I

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

"One went to the door of the Beloved and

knocked. A voice asked, 'Who is there?'

He answered, 'It is I'

The voice said, 'There is no room for Me and Thee.'

The door was shut.

After a year of solitude and deprivation he returned and knocked.

A voice from within asked, 'Who is there?'

The man said, 'It is Thee'

The door was opened for him."
