Saw nothing wrong that would justify blaming them for anything. War zones are bad places to be and you may die by trying to cover it for any news organization. Soldiers are asked to do a job and they did as they were trained. Blame the war not the soldiers.

Agreed. The tape showed the guys on the ground who looked like they were carrying slinged weapons or RPGs according to the pilots. It's happened before where guys carrying cameras that look like weapons in hot area. Of course the tape doesn't mention that at all.

The title alone "collateral murder" tells you it's a propaganda piece and an old one at that.

Also no one mentions that there were weapon carrying men and one of them had an actual RPG. From afar it is hard to tell the two men had cameras. I was upset about the two kids a lot though and pissed that an idiot would bring them into a combat zone. I also would not have been upset if they hadn't over ruled the ground team and taken them to the American hospital instead to an Iraqi hospital.

Apparently you haven't heard the entire story. There were FoIA requests for the video and calls for an investigation of the incident, all if which was denied.

Even before the video was released, the wikileaks editor who had the video was followed, photographed and monitored by the CIA.

If nothing was being covered up, why go to such lengths to keep it secret?

They could have had people on the ground, rather than relying on a grainy video camera.

Actually I did read the story and even have their website on fave and went there to see what they said and it was them crying they are being persecuted and they need a lot of donations to stay online so they can get to the truth of bring the feds to justice. All over their website is pleas for donations.

Reuters did have a FOI suit going but had not won it yet. The vid was encrypted so it wouldn't be leaked until they did. Reuters and the reporters families also have a lawsuit going to win money, lots of it. There have been investigations and the soldiers were found to have done their job according to the rules of engagement. From the video it seems they were right.

So far it looks like a anti military website is trying to stay relevant and a news organization and families trying to get rich. Want to be a war reporter? Get lots of insurance but wait they don't insure in war zones. What a bummer.

What about the last two men with the ambulance trying to save the journalist life, what kind of weapons they had...what about a soldier raping off 14 yo girl then burning her body with gasolin to cover his * mission*..and what about and what about...you see were our tax money went!?
