Congrats Purelife and Krys on the updates.

Now apart from the Pizza Hut thing, I got three call-backs but im not interested in sellin anything. :blink: But Krys girl ur right... They suck at getting back after we submit resumes... this waiting and lack of communication does not help us cuz we dont know what goin on; if we are over-qualified or under-qualified...

Thx Besa :) Yea i basically only eat mashed up potaotes or purred soup! Wisdom teeth removal majorly sux! Get ur hubby, some yogurt and mashed potatoes, jello and stuff. Its been 12 days and im still not eating solid foods I have this really weird yucky taste on my mouth! BLA!!!

u mean seeling something to people? I wouldnt be able to work on commission, I work at a boutique now and I am not one of those ppl who are all up on you: oh do u need this? do u want to see a size in this? do u need this? I figure if ppl like something and wanna buy it they ask for a size, i cannot push merchandise at someone... I hate these kind of people who come in and say do you have ex: some high healed shoes? Im like ummmm well everything is on display how am I supposed 2 know wat u like?! Argh! I liked working with people but now Its starting to get really annoying I just wanna get a job in my field where I sit by a desk and do something I learned about in school.

HOW'S the JOB HUNT everyone? :star:

Hello there! I hope everyone is fine and had a great weekend! congratz Krys on the email update! actually that rocks!!!

regarding the job hunting, so far i haven't been lucky at all, but i didn't flood the world with my resume either... I paused the search for now, since my family is visiting and we're doing our ceremony Agust 21st (having 7/8 people at my house for 2weeks, it's gonna be epic!) then we go in our honey moon, back to HAWAII (but kauai this time).

I am an executive assistant in big international corporation and i really want to find a job in that field. I al so lucky that money is not a problem for us, because i would have turn crazy otherwise. It's cool it gives me time to find the perfect job.

The problem is that I'm not sure I could work "all in English" so I am going to take some "english business" class at UC riverside in september (it's a 4 weeks session). After that, I'm sure I will find something!

I wish you all a lot of luck to find a good job!

Oh great I haven't been able 2 sleep since 430 in the morning ( I was suppose 2 get up at 6... And now its 530 so I don't know if there's a point of trying 2 go back 2 sleep for 20 min....hubby is sleeping which is good cuz when ur sick u need rest. Watch, I'm gonna get really sleepy the minute my alarm clock rings and I will have 2 get up.. Lol great.. Well will update later :)

Hope no one has 2 get up this early like me!

lol thats why I told him to only take out two at a time cuz all four would be a killer and the top two aint bothering him yet...

I did like a pre-nursing major but graduated with an Associates in Liberal arts and since nursing school is like a one year wait in DE, I dont know what to do!!!

Dont get me started on commissioned jobs lol... they aint for me :angry:

I had my interview today set at 11:30 am but we arrived 15 minutes earlier. We are the only couple set for the interview so we didn't wait that long. The officer was really nice and she interviewed as together. She only ask few questions like:

1. How long we've known each other?

2. MY husband and my work?

3. Age

4. Confirm if it was our first marriage

5. Basically asked the one in the forms (communist, prostitution, etc)

6. Address

7. My celphone number

Then she asked some proof of our relationship (bank statement and my health insurance). I offer some pictures but she doesn't want it because she will include it in our file. After that she gave me a form (application for conditional card) and asked me to sign it, took my I-94 and gave me a booklet "Welcome to America". She didn't literally said that I'm approved. She simply explain whats a conditional greencard. But she says that if ever I'm approved I'll be having my new card in 2 weeks =D :rofl: :rofl:

Guys I am feeling so nervous/sad and annoyed at the same time :( I am having trouble eating, sleeping and I have a short fuse with the kids. With being prego, my poor hubby has been dealing with me crying, extra hormones DO NOT help at this time. I just feel like I am going to be in limbo for a long time. How can I enjoy my pregnancy, when my hubby might be asked to leave the country? When we did nothing wrong. I made a mistake! Why does my current happiness, husband, children and this little baby have to suffer for it? Anything INS wants they can have, hell they can move in. I'll make a spare room. Although, the IO did not seem to question the validity of the marriage, he did not ask us in depth questions. He looked through the photos.. I just don't know.. Sorry I am feeling down guys. I am happy for all of you, I just pray for some peace. At this point a yes or no.. I just wanna know if I have to FIGHT or if I can start decorating the nursery and relax.

You are right to vent in here! I'm sure anyone in your situation would also turn crazy! we totally get it!

I'm sure everything will be ok though, and that you will have your positive answer in the mail very soon!

try to relax because at this point stress won't change anything! Your baby needs you to be strong for him/her! Try to go to whole foods and see if you can medicate yourself with homeopatic remedies for stress, try to relax in a good bath... surround yourself with positive energy, and as you are a beleiver, pray god to help you go through it!

Again, I'm sure everything will be fine at the end, but this waiting is exausting and unhealthy, I totally agree and send you my good vibes!

Yay!! Approved!!!!

And we got such a cool nice funny IO officer! He was so nice! Even told us about a cool museum in NYC that we should check out if we like musueams cuz he saw we were in philadelphia at the art museum. He wrote down all the info and adress 4 us. Really it was such a nice guy!!

Now we are waiting, he asked if we could give him one more hour of our time and to go get coffee something 2 eat and come back 2 pick up the stamped passport which is the temp green card!! Yay!!!! Yay!!! I'm soo happy I almost cried from the happiness stress etc... Woo-hoo

I will write more on my comp cuz I'm on my cellphone now.

Oh one question which was suprising is when he asked me I came here in 2005 and the visa is only valid 6 months so why did I stay so much longer? I was like uuuhhhhhhh..... Lol but it came out good! Yay

And we got such a cool nice funny IO officer! He was so nice! Even told us about a cool museum in NYC that we should check out if we like musueams cuz he saw we were in philadelphia at the art museum. He wrote down all the info and adress 4 us. Really it was such a nice guy!!

Now we are waiting, he asked if we could give him one more hour of our time and to go get coffee something 2 eat and come back 2 pick up the stamped passport which is the temp green card!! Yay!!!! Yay!!! I'm soo happy I almost cried from the happiness stress etc... Woo-hoo

Guys I am feeling so nervous/sad and annoyed at the same time :( I am having trouble eating, sleeping and I have a short fuse with the kids. With being prego, my poor hubby has been dealing with me crying, extra hormones DO NOT help at this time. I just feel like I am going to be in limbo for a long time. How can I enjoy my pregnancy, when my hubby might be asked to leave the country? When we did nothing wrong. I made a mistake! Why does my current happiness, husband, children and this little baby have to suffer for it? Anything INS wants they can have, hell they can move in. I'll make a spare room. Although, the IO did not seem to question the validity of the marriage, he did not ask us in depth questions. He looked through the photos.. I just don't know.. Sorry I am feeling down guys. I am happy for all of you, I just pray for some peace. At this point a yes or no.. I just wanna know if I have to FIGHT or if I can start decorating the nursery and relax.

Vent away darling!! We are here for you... I know I will not stop posting until everyone that started has an answer either way. Waiting suck... The only advice I could give you is, go on with your life, enjoy your children, husband and your pregnancy and just know / believe that everything will work out for you.
