So I'm sitting her chatting with my friend and browsing VJ. I think to myself "wow there sure are a lot of posts today." :huh: No, they are old, old, old topics being replied on. :blink: So now I'm giggling because I can't find many current posts from today. Everythings old news to me. :lol:

I must be blind because I can't seem to find all the "old, old, old topics being replied on.." :huh: I do see a few but so what?? :P

This why

"ever hear of post boosting? i am guilty lol" samir_shannon admitted that's what she is doing by post one word replies to just about every thread. I have no problem with people start dumb polls or OT threads about their cat and people responding how cute it is, but to purposely posting nonsense to run up your post count to pick up squares and hearts is BS.

Plus if someone new comes along and sees all her hearts and/or squares and she ever deciides to actually responds with something of substance the new person might give what she says more weight because of her squares and hearts.

If someone knows to check a poster's history, it's pretty easy to see whether their activity has been due to 'boosting', or due to something of more substance....
