Today is the day that my Husband and I arrived into the States from Nicaragua on a K-1 visa. We lived in Boston briefly but now we are in NYC. Things have been going very well and happy to be settled in and living what feels like a normal life. The process does take a toll on you and your SO. I would love to hear how others have been during their first year or few months. We will be celebrating our wedding anniversary in May. Time is flying!!

We've been married for over 6 months, very happy. So worth the wait.

When I was researching the K-1 I was so amazed to find so many people out there in the same boat. I love hearing the happy stories too. :dance:

Congrats to you! Yes this process does take a toll but I'm so glad that VJ is here to assist and provide support. My husband and I have been married over a month and it took us almost two years to be in the same country...but definitely well worth the wait. Its definitely some adjustments but I would do it all over again. I love my husband!! Best wishes to all!

Congratulations! We just celebrated our 2nd anniversary on March 20th and our Son's 1st birthday on March 18th. Went to San Antonio for the weekend. We are happier now than we have ever been. Took us 16 months be be together and then a 15 month long deployment after being married for 3 months, but we are still here and going as strong as ever :)
