I just can't believe I didn't get an RFE. Just amazed..wow! oooh, Merlaine's gonna be PI$$ED!! She sat in the NBI office for hours to get a new one! shhhh, don't tell k..LOL

HERE IS CRAZY PEOPLE GO TO THE BEACH AND IT GETS CROWDED...THANKFULLY WHERE I LIVE IS MORE PRIVATE AND FAR AWAY SO PEOPLE DONT COME HERE UNLESS THEY ARE STAYING IN THE HOTEL..I AM OFF FROM WORK UNTIL MONDAY...YAYYY HERE IS A BIG HOLYDAY EASTER..TAKE A LOOK

Congratulations! Although they missed out on the RFE, such a minor oversight can create unnecessary delay at the interview. I would get everything fixed and send a copy to the interviewee. Just in case it pops up at the interview.

I had a similar situation when we filed the I 129 for K3 visa. For the biographical information, my in-laws typed last name for first and first name for last. In Cambodia, a person's last name is their first name and their first name is their last name. You get the point.

Nonetheless, NVC didn't have a problem. I think if your package sent is clean, the adjudicator will pass it off and let the consular scrutinize the case. Keep in mind that your case will be sitting at the embassy for a month or two, so the consular/assistant will have that much time to look over everything you sent. I've heard of too many people that slid by NVC only to have meet kinks and hustle at the interview for simple things that should have/could have been resolved.

Bottom line is, get everything fixed and get them ready for the interview as the consular can pull out anything to delay your travel plan..eg..technicality ie..AOS, bonafide relationship, DOB, NAMES, etc..etc..

The good news is that once passed NVC your visa is basically approved, unless, the embassy finds reason not to give them to you otherwise..ie..the reasons mentioned above.

Thanks SPSguy I caught it just as I was ready to send the IV packet off. Instead of waiting for a new NBI I just sent it and counted on an RFE. I had my wife go that day and get two new CORRECT ones and update her Police Clearance too. She sent them too me the next day to be ready so I have originals and she does too. Should be all set for the interview now
