I'm still debating between buying the ticket to Chicago now or later. Prices will definitely shoot up with the onset of summer.

Mumbai let's you pick up the visa on the day of the interview itself. If not, they DHL it within 2-3 days. What do you folks think? With a May 12 interview, should I be okay for an estimated departure on the 17th or should I play it safe with the 19th?

Thats good to hear on how fast you can pick up the visa.

Play it safe & buy for the 19th. You never know. Is 2 days much a price difference per the airlines?

haha, I hope so! It's the only shipment to Brazil so far. They didn't have any yesterday.

Argh, I promised myself I wouldn't obsess about DHL tracking, since we can never be sure if it's ours... and here I am! :bonk:

I'm trying to be patient... The only thing that is stressing me out at this point is not knowing if I"ll get May interview.... Also, I'm afraid that if they issue me RFE I'm not going to know... This is not fun anymore and I don't want to play :angry::bonk:

I think with you getting RFE to them so quickly if they move on it you should have a may interview.

natalia - I am with you on the DHL thing... Kingston is not as frequent on the DHL as other places, so everytime I see it I think.. me? but I doubt it.. not till we get an interview date I think? Lady I talked to yesterday said to call back this week to see if they scheduled. ONE GOOD THING about getting a case complete at the end of the month is you dont have to wait long to know when your interview is :thumbs: unless you are apart of the busy embassies.. Aneudy, Julissa.. UGH. Hate you guys are so backlogged...

Alicia, I was wondering....

Remember when we got the RFE? We knew tru AVR but the email only came one day later.

So, maybe they can still assign the interview and haven't send the email yet.

I also wonder if it's really true the 2 weeks of scheduling.... Lots of people got their dates last week, sachi, melody, johanna, and so on.... the operators kept telling Matt to call back on the 16th and he has already gotten the date.
