Hello Hello,

Just received the NOA1 today in the mail (it took 13 days from the date it was sent to the lockbox through regular mail)!!!!!! According to my VJ timeline we can expect the NOA2 between June 6 and June 28...would be GREAT if it came sooner though!!!

Good luck to everyone!

Hey, that's great...

June? that would only be about 4 months?sweet :star:

All of you should have used form form G-1145, To be used by an Applicant or Petitioner who can file their application/petition at one of the three USCIS Lockbox facilities, and who wishes to receive electronic notification (e-Notification) that their application has been accepted.

And now you all will not be complaining and waiting...!!! Good Luck to All of You.

Here is the Link to this form http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/menuitem.5af9bb95919f35e66f614176543f6d1a/?vgnextoid=d9056d4e88ac3210VgnVCM100000b92ca60aRCRD&vgnextchannel=db029c7755cb9010VgnVCM10000045f3d6a1RCRD

By yesterday's estimate it now says we may even see approval my the end of May (that's always changing though). I have been checking our case online and so far we have received 2 touches. I know that doesn't mean that we will be approved sooner, but it's nice to know at least something is going on and it's not just sitting there!

Hey everybody,

Is CR-1/R-1 visa faster than K3 visa? I'm just confused..me & my husband just got married last month here in the philippines & we are planning to do the K3 visa soon..but from my research here on VJ,they were saying that if the NVC receives both the I-130 & the I-129F,they will drop the K3 & pursue the I-130...I need advice on what we're gonna do. Is it smart that we just send I-130 w/o the I-129F? I also wanna know how long it takes until they issue the visa? Thanks for the advises that anyone can give.....

From what I've seen, the K-3 visa process is dead. My wife and I were going to file K-3 as well, but now we are just going to file the I-130. Looks easier anyways, and if I am correct, you get your greencard before you leave the PI, and the fees are lower....
