Just need to vent, sorry. I am dying here, the waiting is brutal. My mind knows that it's going to be a long wait, but my heart is having serious issues. (L)

I was wondering if it's to early to contact a Congressman? I am willing to do anything at this point to get the ball rolling.

WAY too early. Contacting your Congressman is for cases considerably outside the normal processing times. There are people who's cases go on for months and months and they NEED the Congressman's help. It's been two months for you. Leave the Congressional staff to work on cases that really need their attention. I know it's tough but keep some perspective. Stated processing times are 5 months. You need to prepare yourself to wait that long. I'm sure you'll be approved before then, but that's the reality.

Chin up. This wait will seem like nothing when you're finally together.

I'm the USC petitioner.

No, it is not too early to contact them. You can do it at any time but? When it have the affect you want. probably not. Everybody has to sit it out and wait. Being my second k-1, things have not changed a bit. But remember, you always can contact them it is your tax dollars, make them earn it!!!

it's heartbreaking to see more CSC filers get approved 30 days ahead of VSC filers.

i'm trying sooooo hard not to check their threads. it's just depressing to see that they are going to be with their love ones sooner.

but hey i think it's not about how fast we get to be together. i guess i just need to focus on thinking that it's better to wait for it now.. and get an approval. than a speedy rejection. i just really miss my baby.

sorry guys i know u all feel this right now. just thought i should post something today at vj.

i guess i miss the time when i check all the threads and topics on asking how to prepare a really good I-129f package.

and checking out the documents needed before the interview.

now seeing that it takes about 90 days (the fastest to get an NOA2 from VSC), i am currently taking my time on getting the other documents. and just trying to do other things. like slowly segregating things that i need to bring.. and the things that i would give away. i just have to get it in my thick skull that i'm not alone on this. that we are all waiting for our NOA2.

i'm also trying to spend more time with my family and friends because i know i'll miss them. (assuming that i will get approved!) LOL

if i don't, then my baby just needs to come here and start the rest of our lives together here. :)

AS LONG AS WE CAN BOTH BE TOGETHER. :luv:

I was looking at the timelines last night and it got to me too. I hadn't really checked them this month until last night, but it seems that almost everyone that filed the same time we did at the CSC have their NOA2. Some people who filed in January/February have interview dates already. I am in the same boat and have the same feelings.

Hi all!!

Waiting is not fun but there is again nothing we can do about it. Feb filers with VSC seem to be approved now so hopefully we will hear something in two weeks, who knows? Feb was a short calendar month it is better than nothing :D

Keep your heads up and your shoulders back. Speak with your SO every chance and don't forget Skype. This time will all seen just a drop in the bucket when we are together at last. I wish all a speedy approval. It is a real downer that CSC seems to be able to crank those puppies out and VSC just chugs along with little moves here and there. But we all knew about the waiting when we applied. I am thankful for this site so I am able to see even some movement. checking Igor's list is better than checking USCIS site.

You are absolutely correct.

Out of curiosity I would love to know how many people globally applied for a K1 visa let's say in March 2010 with VSC. Few of them are on VJ but what about the rest?

According to Igor's List, for those of us who had a NOA1 at the beginning of March should start hearing some good news in 2 weeks from now... Let's hope :innocent:
