Some people have used chat printouts, but you're going to have more than that. Haved you visited more than once? IF so, photos, boarding passes, hotel receipts, atm receipts, etc will be proof.

If you haven't visited more than once, phone records, emails, e-greeting cards, snail mail with international postmark are proof.

If ALL you have ar chat logs, get going on some more evidence BEFORE your interview.

Voice chat logs are acceptable with the other proofs that you have listed above. Hoepfully you have plenty of emails to supply also.

Try to picture it this way... The Consulate does not know you or your fiancee. Now look at the evidence you have to proove you are in love with your fiancee, she is in love with you and you have a legitimate ongoing relationship. Chat logs tell part of the story, but not all. I advise you and your fiancee to start emailing (alot), send e-cards (www.123cards.com is FREE). Buy a calling card that allows you to printout phone records and at least show A FEW phone calls (try www.Pingo.Com).

The more proof you have, the better your chances are...

does instant messages from yahoo counts as poof it has the ability to print out directly from the messenger just wondering cuz its our primary way of communication

You really need to keep track of every time you speak to her, and if I was you, I would plan a few more trips to go see her. I lived in China for 8 months and I had 10-months of SKYPE video chat after I returned to the U.S. and we still ended -up with a 221G at the interview. Granted they asked for 3-items but surprisingly, they requested more correspondence evidence. Also, just a heads-up SKYPE video chat is way better then, instant messages, you get to see each other and interact, plus it's free. And, SKYPE keeps a chat history for you, so when your ready you can just print it out... I found it to be way better than just see letters.

Good luck

Poof on the ongoing relationship will doom your visa process. Sorry, just couldn't resist.

Logs and chats from Yahoo messenger can be used as "evidence" not "poof" or even "proof" of an ongoing relationship.

Facts are cheap...knowing how to use them is precious...

Topic Title edited to correct inadvertently incorrect message

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”
