Thanks Sundrop!

We are still deciding if to send it before getting a RFE..

<!--quoteo(post=3782891:date=Mar 9 2010, 09:32 PM:name=IBLP)--><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (IBLP @ Mar 9 2010, 09:32 PM) <a href="index.php?act=findpost&pid=3782891"><{POST_SNAPBACK}></a></div><div class='quotemain'><!--quotec-->Hi Feb filers,

I would like to hear yr opinion about the following:

My american fiance sent the 129-F with his divorce certificate without any stamp or seal.

Now that he is about to receive the final certificate from the court in CT, do you guys think we should send it with a letter to USCIS explaining that we are adding it before getting a possible RFE?

Regards,

Ilana<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->

If he had wanted to get married in CT between the certificate with no seal and the final certificate being issued would he have been able to?

General consensus on VJ is that you shouldn't send anything in unless asked for it, or it just gets lost. If you get an RFE, you have to return it with the additional documents requested.

But unless the first, seal/stampless certificate qualified him to remarry under CT law, you may have issues about his eligibility to marry. Not sure if the US has the same/ similar process to the UK, but here we have a decree nisi pronounced and then have to wait for the decree absolute. It's the absolute that authorizes you to remarry...

I just want to wish all the February filers good luck with their journey. Please go in expecting a 4 month waiting and being delighted with anything shorter. It's been a long couple of months for us December filers and the November filers can attest that the VSC just isn't cranking K1's out as quick as they once were. There are many reports of the CSC being quicker which is true, but please don't let it get you down. Keep your heads up and the positivity flowing! :thumbs:

I updated my timeline a few days ago but I still did not end up on Igor's list. I guess that I will just have to track my progression with those with similar dates. Oh well.

Called today to correct the spelling on my NOA1, after 10 minutes on hold and answering questions, I was told system went down and to try later. I love the goverment. I hope they don't read that. Let me send them a few cases of beer in Vermont.

I did sign up for email and text alerts.

Time to sit back and wait, wait, and wait.

Wow. This group must be on Ritalin. Nobody is excited, whining, complaining. Nothing. We all must be on the couch just waiting for the NOA2's to appear. This is definitely not any of the other groups threads out there. I must me on the wrong thread. I guess March madness has taken us over and everyone is seeing how fu**ed their brackets are. Still sending VSC good karma for a lot of approvals. Time to grab a beer and watch the tournament.

I'm sending good Karma vibes to January guys and you guys. You shall be next.

Especially since we are (it seems from your user name) bringing fiancee's from the same city.

December's are all drunkards..... so not much says about us :D

I really hope VSC wraps up December in the coming weeks and goes full force onto the next months!

Good luck, everyone. I know how hard and sh!tty the wait is :(

Слава Україні!

I'm aching in side but the reality of it is that it's only been 30 something days for me. I expect a longer wait then that. Also, on igor's list, it seems there are a heck of a lot less cases in Cali than Vermont. I know VJ only makes up about 5% but if that basic stats are the same, there's just less going on in Cali!

It's better to be sane about it all than pulling our hairs out! That wouldn't look cute in the wedding pics! :P

Our Time Line

129-F

Lifting Conditions

2/19/2013 -- Sent I-751 to Vermont Service Center

2/21/2013 -- package received by VSC

2/27-2013 -- NOA-1

3/22/2013 -- Biometrics

Hey IBLP. I don't know how to samba, but I learned to salsa. I will do it too. I might have to go to Kharkov so I don't get in trouble, if you know what I mean.

Great weekend here. 80 degrees yesterday. Did some bass fishing, rode 4-wheelers, and my sons won their lacrosse games. Had a good party last night. Great upsets in the tournament. Everyones brackets are all in shambles. That is why they call it madness.

Good to see a lot of approvals this week. I hope they keep it up with these high numbers for at least another month. It will give us all an earlier NOA2. I just wish Vika had gotten everything together when I was there for New Years. I would be about six weeks ahead of where I am at. Such is life.

My names are still not on Igor's list. I just gauge my progress by looking at the last on with my NOA2.

Hey IBLP, do you salsa? Just Kidding. I am not to worried about seeing my name on a list. Just trying to help out future filers with their progress. I am prepared to wait for a late summer interview. Anything earlier is a bonus. KEEP DANCING FOR VSC. It might help.
