COPAKE, N.Y. – State police in New York say an upstate dairy farmer shot and killed 51 of his milk cows in his barn before turning the rifle on himself.

State police found the body of 59-year-old Dean Pierson in his Copake barn on Thursday. A visitor found a note Pierson had left on the barn door that said not to come in and to call police.

State police would only say that Pierson was having personal issues

In Wisconsin, the price of milk is way down, to the 1970's levels, and the property taxes are way in the hell up. I would equally be tempted to kill, but not the cows nor myself, but those responsible for committing these "legal" crimes. Seen some farmers go so far in debt, was not even a light at the end of the tunnel.

And you don't pay property taxes based on what you can earn off that land, you pay whatever the dirty fuvken bast@rds tell you to pay. To me, that's criminal.
