Well, I might be wrong but that's what I understood from the I-485 instructions. As long as they get a copy of DS-3025 and it says the vaccination history is complete there should be no reason to worry about CS.

That's the reason why many people have been sending only a copy of the vaccination worksheet but they seem to be sending RFEs for the I-693 no matter what.

They refused to do the vaccination only section of the I-693 because of the problems with rejections from USCIS. Another clinic I talked to would not do the partial vaccination part either due to the problems with rejections. One clinic quit doing immigration exams because of being hassled by people being rejected for things out of their control and communicating with USCIS is to difficult for the clinics.

They lied to you. The reason that they don't want to do the vaccination part only is because they can charge you a WHOLE LOT more $$$ if they do the whole thing. That's the same reason that 95% of the CS's will not do the vaccination section only. And they try to scare applicants into doing a full exam (unneeded in most cases) telling them that they will be rejected if they don't pay for (err... do) a full exam.

We recently filed AOS - after coming from Chile also like the original poster. We got an RFE for the 693 as well. We went to the CS and "fought" with him - by being educated as to what is required - to make sure that we did not have to do the medical exam over again. Since the CS's have the upper hand in this situation, they will try like mad to get you to take the medical over again when all you need are sections 1,2 & 5 of the 693 which is the transcription of vaccinations!~ What ended up happening was that he had to take an additional TB and HIV test, even though he had these in Chile, they transcribed the vaccinations and charged us $75 - this was after they tried to charge us $200 - we negotiated down to this. Our medical insurance did cover the doctor visit. Be educated and only get what you need. The medical exam in Chile is extremely thorough so you should not have to go through this again. Good luck. The process is maddening but the reward is soooo sweet.

We have the same problem. If you dont want to undergo medical again find a way to get a copy. As for me, because i only have receipt with me and there was email ad of the doctor, I send him an email asking for copy so i can show it to Civil surgeon. Right now, im still waiting for reply. If you dont have email of your doctor, try to call them or send authorization letter to one of your family requesting copy of your medical and bring it to the doctor. I may do the same too if the doctor wont reply me for a week. Good luck!!!
