Just did a quick check on Igor's list and it appears that someone got a January approval??? At CSC???? January NOA2s in February... Probably military expedited, but still good news!

I sent in my I-129F to california center on Jan 22nd, 2010. Received by them on 25th and I got my receipt number from the cash checked. Checked status online and says received and notice sent

still close to a month and still no NOA1 in the mail. Is this normal? I'm wondering if they even sent my NOA1 or it somehow got lost.. even though I live like one city over to where the California processing center is.

what do you guys think?

January 15, 2010 ---- Sent I-129F to USCIS

January 19, 2010 ---- I-129F received by USCIS

January 20, 2010 ---- Check cashed

January 20, 2010 ---- NOA1

January 26, 2010 ---- Received NOA1 hard copy

February 26, 2010 ---- NOA2

March 1, 2010 ---- Received email from USCIS about the NOA2

March 6, 2010 ---- Received NOA2 hard copy

March 11, 2010 ---- Received NVC letter (hard copy) dated March 6, 2010 in the mail

April 6, 2010 ---- Received USEM letter (hard copy) dated March 18, 2010 in the mail

April 12 & 13, 2010 --- Medical (passed physical exams and given immunizations too)

April 13, 2010 (AM) --- Attended CFO (given the certificate. Will get the Sticker when visa on hand)

April 14, 2010 --- Psyche Evaluation (I was told to call 2-3 days after for the results)

April 19, 2010 --- Called St. Luke's for the results (I passed the evaluation. No more tests)

April 22, 2010 --- Went back to Manila to get my medical results from SLEC (took almost 6 hours just waiting for the release!)

April 26, 2010 (7:00 A.M.)---- Interview Schedule (I got not pink nor blue slip, but a Reverification Form for NSO to send directly to USEM my CENOMAR and Annotated Marriage Certificate, although I have submitted and given these to the Consul during the interview, so why? I don't know! And told me that as soon as NSO forwarded the requested documents, visa will be delivered. Oh well...)

April 27, 2010 ---- Went home

April 28, 2010 ---- Ordered online the documents USEM requested

I have signed up at USCIS' check case status and everytime I check, I only see "initial review". I don't see anything that says our case is "touched". Please enlighten me on these. Thank you...

Igor's List just tracks actions and sorts them in order. List is here. Igor's List

If your last action date changes in USCIS then you been touched. Normally, you'll stay in initial review for about 3 months, but can go shorter or longer. Depends on your level of luck.. :blush:

Ohhhhhh, you have to register an account with USCIS. You create an account with your USCIS case number. Once you created that, then you log in and add you pending case to your portfolio. Then you can check status, add your email and cell info for updates, and you can see when your action was last updated. If that date changes from time to time, then your being touched. IDEALLY, you would get a cell txt message when your case is updated or when a decision is made.

Don't you just love those little status circles...???? I keep trying to "mind will" my circle to the decision label, but not having luck with that... :rolleyes:

I just found this thread! We filed on Jan 14 and received the NOA1 on the 19th. Is anyone else going to be at the Montreal Consulate for their interview?

Cool...glad to have another one in the same boat. I usually check my account a few times a day... but I'm getting much better now and controlling myself....!! been a month since my NOA1..!! I used to check the USCIS status every hour for the first week....like I was actually expecting something to happen...then realizing "noooo you have to wait your turn" :blush: Now I'm fully into the patiently waiting mode..and just preparing for the next step...:)

Yeah, hahahahah... And it's a relief to know that this is actually some sort of a "natural" thing to do when one is on the wait for NOA2. So we're still "normal" people, eh? :lol:

On my part, I don't actually know what to be impatient with-- his next visit or the NOA2? Both are trying my patience! :no:

Anyway, it's nice to have this thread. At least we have an avenue to voice out our impatience, heheheheh...
