you are starting to remind me of Nagi ....WILL YOU SIT YOUR ####### DOWN!

Iam sitting down. Didn't do too much today....went to the banko, then grocery store, then played a bit out front with the snapper, cooked him some ground veal, made a salad and ate that and ran the sweeper.

I did not buy any C&D, but did manage to get some crackers and cream cheese, which is just as bad.

Uh... I have never been to Uwajimaya... I would sooooooo love to do that

How have you lived in Seattle this long and never been to Uwajimaya?! It was one of the stops when I took my 120 writings students on a field trip down town the week before Xmas break. Anyway, it's a fun place, great food, and really close to the train station. Or we can walk down to Elliot Bay Books...

So, I don't know if I mentioned this or not, but the same day I took my students on the writing field trip a pipe in the heater in the classroom above me burst and flooded my room. Bunch of my books, files, photos, etc were ruined. I asked the school to reimburse me - some of those books were expensive and now ruined - and I got major attitude about it. I was so freaking pissed. The business manager basically accused me of lying about the damage (I didn't have a camera with me and didn't take photos but plenty of other teachers and students helped me dry out the mess) and then suggested I not use personal belongings in my classroom as it causes me so much stress. He further went on to suggest I requisition any and all supplies I need to 'effectively teach my classes' from my department budget. Well, since I'm the English Department Chair, I know damn well we don't get a very big budget. I have been asking for things like LCD projectors and Document Cameras for YEARS and finally got ONE this year. Why would I ask the school to buy me books I already own (previous to the flooding of course) when I've had them for years they are highlighted with notes, etc?

So anyway, they gave me a lot of ####### but eventually reimbursed me. Then gave me even more ####### because I asked if they could remove the chalkboards and bulletin boards and clean behind them because water was under there and it smelled bad. Again the implication that I was lying and that there was no damage to my classroom, etc. I went in yesterday to get some files and they'd replaced my boards and bulletin boards. Hee hee. Guess someone else said "hey, dude, she wasn't lying and it would do you well to not ignore this.'

Just crazy.

he will come the first week of february. i finally convinced him to go home to spend time with his family first. so he is going home for about 2 weeks, then his immediate family will come back to delhi with him to see him off at the airport and take the remainder of his furniture back home with them.

i remembered feeling it was a bigger deal for hubby to leave his life there and how exciting it may be to be traveling to America and FINALLY you don't look like all talk to all the people around you....VISA BABY...USA HERE I COME!:dance:

#######! The snapper eats better than me :crying:

Yes, and he eats better then me....but keep in mind when I got him he was malnurished, starving and 30 pounds under weight and Im still trying to put weight on him, even though he has already put on a lot, he needs a bit more because German Shepherd Dogs finish growing around age 3. Snapper is only 18 months.
