no, he is paul e sheppard out of california. its ok, pastors come and pastors go, but God's Word remains the same. He just had a comedic side to his preaching, then got down to the nitty gritty.

I never heard of him. There was a Rabbi I loved to listen to....he was a bit in-your-face and very outspoken. I can't find his program anymore. Bummer.

When I lived in Michigan I used to LOVE to watch Bishop Sheen on EWTN. He was on every Friday night at 8pm and AAm always got home at 9...so I never missed it. But, when we moved here, the programming was a bit different and now I can't see Bishop Sheen ...so I understand what you're both saying...

i only like snow for one day of the year. of course here, we never get just fun snow (if it snows at all, but we usually only get ice). we get ice, then snow on top, then another layer of ice, so it takes forever to go away. i remember in 2007, power lines were down, houses had massive oak trees land on top of them, and most of the city was in a blackout for over 2 weeks all because of ice. ice makes beautiful pictures, but a mess to clean up.

We usually get power outages in the summer. I can't imagine being without heat in the winter for 2 weeks.

yeah, it was a mess. pretty scary going down the street in total blackness. i was only out for a weekend. my mom was out for 2 weeks, and some people were out for a month. it is still strong in our memories. people had to sleep at churches, the red cross, everywhere. stop lights had to be run by generators. generators were all sold out at the stores. you would think we were living in the 1800s.

Wow! We had a power outage for about a week some years ago in the summer. People were frantic. The pets and I were a bit uncomfortable with the heat, but I had a full tank of gas , plenty of water, food and batteries. :)

Morning commies :star:

I had to drive Luis to work this morning - I still don't trust him driving in the snow/ice. He works 15 min from home & it took me almost an hour to get him there and over an hour to get home. I got Burger King breakfast on the way home since I was so hungry

I still feel sick -- have a massive headache & am taking tylenol since that's the only thing I'm allowed to take. What have you commies been up to?

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

morning commies.

happy as can be this morning :) :) I slept in my bed last night. I slept for so freaking long and my legs aren't as swollen since I had more room to spread out and get comfortable. I feel a bit odd laying naked and spread eagle with my legs propped up by lots of pillows, but who the f cares cos I slept a lot!
