Wonderful news! But.....is this #######? It says they are process March 6th on the website. Unless they made a big leap from July 19th update to today...? My date is April 11th? What gives? Granted, the received my RFE a few days after yours.

Done ranting...

Great news! :thumbs

I don't imagine I'm to far behind. ;)

Right about the March 6 date on their website - but since RFEs were sent out randomly with apparently no regard for NOA1 date it seems everything there is no order now. She got her RFE on June 30 and returned it on July 3. My NOA1 date is March 23 and I didn't get my RFE until July 10. No rhyme or reason these days so we cannot rely on processing dates - only what progress and patterns we see here. In the end, the fact that CSC is actually working, processing and approving cases is the best news we've seen in months!

I feel for you kitkat1. My NOA1 date is March 29 and did not receive my RFE until July 10 as well. We are both at the 4 month mark and still no progress. Maybe we will be getting ours soon. Lets hope. Hang in there, at least something positive is happening.

I'M STEAMING here in OR :dead: and not just because it's been over 100 degrees in the shade. I'm sorry, but what gives here? As one of those supposedly blessed with a March 6 NOA 1 (do you realize that if they had processed their mail just one day earlier and stamped the application received on March 5, my fiance would likely be here by now?)

I am getting more disturbed by the minute as I read about approvals for petitions that were submitted 2 or 3 months after mine, some even as late as June. MINE WAS APPROVED AND SENT TO THE EMBASSY MONTHS AGO FOR CRYING OUT LOUD, along with 1199 others who like me were also recalled due to no fault of our own, and are being left hanging off the edge of this emotional cliff. I harbor no grudges against anyone, but GEEZ LOUISE. Give me a break, CSC posted last week they are working on MARCH 6 K1's - How many can there be????? I certainly haven't seen any approvals for those. I returned the danged IMBRA RFE July 5, same day I got it, they dawdled around a week to acknowledge receipt thereof, and now I have no indication my file has been touched since July 12. I thought they were supposed to be working on the March 6 files, right?:protest::protest::crying: Jeepers, what's an honest, hardworking, tax paying citiizen supposed to do? The only crime I've committed was unwittingly falling in love with someone who lives in another country. Surely it shouldn't be this hard.

Yes, I do sympathize with you. And this comment is off topic, but there are so many good intentioned gov't programs that run amok. I'm a small business owner and was held hostage by the civil rights commision for age discrimination for 9 months until they determined the charge was groundless. So now they change the charge to "retailiation"...in other words, I am now discriminating against this man by not hiring him because he is sueing me!!! I lost that, and it cost me thousands...it could have easily been 6 figures if the guy didn't have a stroke.

...and no I'm not a troll with an agenda like that Scottish Highlander guy. It's just interesting to see how everyone is so surprised that bigger gov't isn't better gov't...as so many business owners, already are familiar with. The road to hell is paved...you know.

Maybe its a factor of distance, as well. Those closest to the Service Center were bound to receive their RFE's sooner than those of us in the Midwest. For us, that is one of the big problems with the NSC to CSC transfer that took place. Calif is far from being centrally located!

What does that have to do with the price of tea in China? The date someone joins this board shouldn't have any bearing on their news, good or otherwise. Y'know, I relied a lot on others timelines when we were doing the K1 too...and got disappointed a lot. BUT I never snubbed anyone's approval. I learned that looking at others timelines is only a way of possibly calculating when you might get an approval. Some got their K-1 before we did and they filed after we did. Nothing you or anyone can do but congratulate and hope you're next.

All this skepticism on the K-1 forum is getting old. Geesh.

Congratulations on your NOA2.

Doesnt matter how long you have been on this board, doesnt matter that your NOA1 date is well after alot of us. Congratulations on finishing the first step.

I too am dissappointed that CSC has chosen to ignore NOA1 dates and use the RFE date however that doesnt mean that I am not happy for anyone who gets their approval and is able to move on. Actually thrilled that CSC is doing something as that means our wait is almost over also.

Hi there,

I'm new to posting on this site - it has been a great find though, thanks to everyone for all the info over the last few weeks of nail biting...

Just wanted to let people know.... I just got an e-mail saying our case was APPROVED and an approval notice was mailed on July 21, 2006!!!

Our NOA1 date is April 12, 2006. IMBRA RFE was received in the mail on 06/30 and we returned it 07/03. Got the usual e-mail acknowledging receipt of the RFE on 07/08.

Hope this means NOA2s for all will be coming in the next few days.....

Good luck.

Abigail.

This is very exciting news! Congratulations!!!

I hope more people get good news soon.

I have not seen my sweet fiance since Sept 2... *sigh*
