While Alla and I were on Skype together this morning, I received the following email from the Embassy:

RE: Singed Letter to Embassy - Case MOS2009683008

Thank you for the info. Her visa is approved and should be issued

And as Alla would say in her perfect broken English, "I don't know what I do!"

Maybe it was the 15 emails sent to the Embassy containing PDF scans of select emails, phone records, Skype records, and photos inserted onto Word documents?

Maybe it was the threat of the big box coming FedEx to them? (It is on the way; the lady asked for More!)

Maybe it was the 2-1/2 page "Letter of Intent to Marry & Statement of Relationship"? (Drafted and emailed over the weekend.)

Maybe it was that we responded so quickly?

What I can deduce is that this woman had looked over the documents prior to the interview, and maybe with some of the interview communication problems that occurred, that was the reason?

What I can suggest to all is to definately pre-load your petitions. Don't go crazy but do give them the "Cliff Notes" picture of your relationship.

And, do definately rehearse with your SO. As some have stated, they may ask very pointed questions.

And, maybe not for the first Letter of Intent, but the second you send for the interview, write about your relationship and why you love this person. I have a sneaky suspicion my letter which I drafted and sent over the weekend sealed the deal.

GRATS !!!!! That is great news!!! I myself have started my email campaign to get them to tell me why. Tatiana is upset with herself for not asking that question before the she left the embassy. I am myself trying to find out the answer to that question and when I do, I plan to inundate them like Phil.. Let the paper war begin!! hehe..
