Hi all--just curious if anyone has recently gotten approved through California. How long from NOA1 to NOA2? Thanks!

5/25/2010 NOA

6/07/2010 biometrics letter received

Hi there,

It took me 94 days from the day the CSC has received our application on the 24-Oct-05. I have just mailed Packet 3 back to the US Consulate.

The initial stage with the Petition is slow but now things are moving fast!

STAGE 1 - I-129F (PETITION FOR ALIEN)

* 2005-10-21: I129F Application being sent

* 2005-10-24: NOA1 Application confirmed received by email

* 2005-12-02: Received National Police Certificate (Australia)

* 2006-01-03: Received National Police Certificate (Mauritius)

* 2006-01-23: NOA2 Approval received by email

* 2005-01-27: Received NOA2 Letter by Snail Mail

STAGE 2 - K-1 (FIANCE VISA)

* 2006-02-01: The officer at NVC confirmed the case was forwarded to the US Consulate in Australia

* 2006-02-13: Receive Packet 3

* 2006-02-14: Re-Schedule for another National Police Certificate (Australia) with FINGERPRINTS!

* 2006-02-15: Medical Examination Appointment & Mailed Back Packet 3

* 2006-02-28: Receive Packet 4

* 2006-03-22: Interview Scheduled

* 2006-03-22: K-1 Visa APPROVED

I'm still going through California. It's been 2 and a half month since NOA1 and still no NOA2 in sight.

10/13/2006 - sent AOS and EAD documents

10/18/2006 - NOA1

11/02/2006 - biometrics appointment in Santa Ana

01/05/2007 - interview appointment in Santa Ana - APPROVED!!!

01/16/2007 - greencard in mail

01/22/2007 - EAD card in mail (well, thank you very much)

We waited for 6 months and 25 days for the NOA2!! But Lord willing it will not be this long for you guys... (F)

It took 78 days (a little over 2 1/2 months) from NOA1 to NOA2 going through CSC/TSC. :yes:

CSC was caught up in a huge immigration fraud ring last year and it really screwed up the processing times. When I did Claudeth's petition it only took about 3 weeks to get the approval. Hopefully, now that the ring has been broken up CSC will return to some speedy approvals. Good luck to all going through there. :D

We are using CSC and I received the NOA! on Nov. 21, 2005. Am anxiously awaiting the NOA2!

12/05/05 NVC received application! (say 2-4 week wait)
12/13/05 Found out forms were sent to London on 12/08/05!
12/20/05 Packet 3 received!
01/11/06 Medical - Knightsbridge London
01/18/06 Sent back packet 3!
02/15/06 Received packet 4!

02/13/06 INTERVIEW DATE 03/22/06 AT 10.30AM!! - APPROVED

Married July 29th 2006!!
