It has been taking about 2 weeks for the case number to be assigned.

14 Days??? That's crazy. I am so tired of this journey already. I want it to be over with already and relax..

Aren't we all? Wish I could see your timeline to see how long you waited. There are people on VJ who've been waiting for years and didn't give up, there are even people on VJ who had to file law suits against USCIS in order to have their petitions approved. Nothing personal, don't mean to be mean, just giving you my advice - prepare your paperwork carefully, do not think about the process how long it takes, expect the unexpected, and only then time will fly  Good luck with your process and have a speedy NVC stage

It's been 2 months already and mine hasn't been received at NVC yet despite multiple calls to USCIS and their assurance they'll do it.

Their official line is that it might take up to 90 days to send an approved petition to NVC.

90 days? Are they out of their mind? I hope they aren't actually walking the files from CSC to New Hamshire (NVC)..Hope they know there are FEDEX and UPS options out there..

Peace!
