So how did you find out? Was it an email or the website?

I got a text message and all it said was that my case had been updated. So I figured it was the RFE thing about the birth certificate. Well, I went to check my email and nothing. I refreshed, checked my spam filter, double checked the text message and still nothing so I figured it was a glitch. A minute or two after that I get the email. So I open the email and it said blah, blah, blah "Approval notice sent". Which I then freaked out about. I ran to get my NOA1 and make sure that the case numbers matched.

While I was waiting the last month I would add case numbers to my profile on uscis to see if they had been updated yet or not. Cause I figured the one before or after would mean I was next. So I thought ####### what if I accidentally signed up and just received a notice for someone else.

And the numbers matched!!! :P

Which then lead to me calling Ham who didn't answer his cell phone....so I ended up calling his house phone, his best friend, his sister, and his mum. Then leaving a message on a chat group were in and asking the people there if they knew where he was at. Also, posting on facebook if anyone had happened to see my boyfriend that day and knew where he was. :P

A half hour later he turns his phone on and I get a call back to give the good news. :P

So a word of advice to everyone. If it's close to your time then make sure your SO has their freaking phone on! :P Then you won't look like a crazy person telling everyone that you need to talk to your partner immediately but can't tell them why you need to talk to them. :P

Ha! Checking the emailed case number against my NOA1 was my first step, too. Maybe I put in the wrong case number and this is really somebody else's approval?

Too funny~

No problem, I'm sending out extremely positive vibrations for you and Laura J and the rest of the October crowd. I think Vermont peaks in at VJ and "greases the squeeky wheel." So start shouting and complaining. It worked for Bacon :)
