What a crazy thread, my gun is bigger than yours, I have enough peanut butter sandwiches to last me a month. Without even a single word about who is revolting against who! Am I going to start shooting at my good neighbor because he is an army captain? Am I going to join a group of ten guys that parade into Washington DC and start shooting at women and kids? If the whole nation is in involved with a revolution, why even shoot anybody, just boycott those leaders or put them on a slow boat to China. What would the government do if we all refused to pay our taxes? Without our money, they would be helpless, some of them would even have to find an honest job.

Let's look at what the problems are first before shooting first and asking questions later.

Hey, the size thing was a joke, OK? Ever since my 90 day free trial of ExtenZ, I have dropped from carrying a Kimber Ultra CDP . 45 to a Colt M1903 .32...OK Happy now? My wife is. She says the Colt is much more elegant and be-fitting a gentleman packing a big gun.

Besides the question was IF, not who what where when or why. Whatever the reason may be or what the target is, 12 tons of ammo ought to keep me going for a while and I have a deal with Pizzadude for the food.

The government can print money without the benefit of your tax dollars, therin a BIG problem. They confiscate your earnings before you receive them so for most people it is very difficult to have a tax revolt. They embed excise taxes in the price of many things, where is the tax? How much is the tax? The government is full yaware that people do not like to pay tax and have been very careful to assure they will continue their cash flow stream, so tax revolt is nearly impossible. As we see with the current administration, revenue has no connection to expenses for the government. When you have a prnting press for money, there is no need for higher taxes to pay for all the handouts. Just print that #######!!!!! Obama will be retired as President before that chicken comes home to roost in the form of a valueless dollar. He hopes.

Oh well, at any rate, many ammo isn't partisan, it will work for whatever comes along. Great thing about ammunition

Not sure what was going on during 9/11, did stock up on peanut butter sandwiches and ammo, ate the peanut butter sandwiches, but still have the ammo. Our property, dollar, etc., is only as good as our government, can get a headache thinking about that.

OMG you needed wikipedia for that? No, say it isn't so? Everyone knows a .25-06 is made by necking down a .30-06. Why else would you name a cartridge first made in the 50s "'06" It is kinda obvious! The .35 Whelen is made by necking it up. We ARE speaking among adults here, right?

Incidentally in 1989 some wacko kid on a neighboring ranch thought I looked like a deer and shot me in the right leg with a .25-06. Wasn't enough gun. Took me out for a while, to be sure, and really ruined that day but I didn't stay shot. That is why I use nothing less than a .30 bore anymore for serious social work. I figure the kid must have had a doe permit, I hadn't been in the brush long enough to get horny.

I'm ready. I'll be watching as the army takes out all the dicks that think somehow they have validation for revolution. The president won a fair election and is not doing anything outlandish (unconstitutional) that warrants such a move. Now, if Obama starts changing the rules for the next set of elections or decides not to have any more elections they can have at it and I would join in, in a non violent capacity of course

The government executed a lot of them for treason before they realised that they were more valuable alive - and put them to work in the plantations of the West Indies.

I expect anyone who does decide to "revolt" will find themselves on the wrong side of anti-terrorism laws

I would'nt dismiss them as mere idle threats. There's a lot of talk among the Right about overthrowing the government. That's only the talk that we know about. We're not attending secret militia meetings...at least not all of us. And the ones here that know the score - they're not going to rat out like Terry Nichols did.

I got 6 refrigerators, 3 Freezers 4 ovens, 100's of pounds of food and protective devices/shooting materials...So i'm thinkin I could hold out a year or more....either my 300 lbs of dogs(both of em) or my armory will keep out any unwanted entities. Of course the only thing I would need is gas for the generator but I could get a large storage contatiner and put it in my storage room real quick, I live near a large pipeline co. and near a very large field of gas storage facilities and a local distributor for petrol/kerosene products. So i'm set.

I've got perhaps 12-14 tons of ammunition and components (will the Col. accept tonnage as a count?) and you've got Pizza!!!!! we're set. It will be like college days!!!!!!! I handload for about 70 different cartridges, including the ones you can make from something else or use the same dies for, so I think I can cover your needs. I like pepperoni, sausage, mushroom, onion and pineapple on my pie!
