how do you deal with you emotions?

Hi guys,

after I went obviously crazy a couple hours ago Im back on earth. How do you guys deal with that emotional rollercoster?

I don't buy tickets to roller coasters that I don't want to ride.

If I get really sad I try to get out of the house and go to a store I like and maybe buy myself something.

LOL...Prozac! Seriously, this journey has taken a toll on me emotionally. It helps!

No easy answere I'm afraid.....you just do. Things worth having are never gotten easy. It's a waiting game, which is ok if you have a date to wait for, but this process, each stage of it, is a bit like a "how long is a piece of string" situation, you don't know how long it'll be for your particular case. Hang on in there and good luck.

This waiting game does suck...believe me I've found myself in similar situations. But all I can say is to keep strong. For starters, whatever you did before your petition was sent in, try to keep doing it. My fiancee and I still chat every night like we used to before I sent our petition in. Yea we hit a couple bumps but one thing we both found out, keep strong, keep optimistic...don't count the days, make the days count. Of course we both want to be together but there's not much we can do but wait and stay a step ahead of the game, that way when the time calls for it, you are set to go. If it helps any, my fiancee and I do quite a few things online together. We've been meeting almost the same time everyday/night with webcams and yahoo messenger since we met. Try online shopping, online games...anything you would normally do in person, try to apply it online. You'd be surprised. Bottom line, and I'll say again, stay strong and don't count the days. Your time will come soon enough! Good luck and hope this helps!

I am asking myself the same question... I try and try and try and still feel like...you know what.... it doesn't have to do with my hubby, he's the best.... it's me and the adjustment, the change... it's too tough sometimes...

I eat bad things in large quantities.

I whine to all my friends, who in turn keep me in check when I go crazy with insane thoughts.

I give my SO the silent treatment when I think he isn't as frustrated by this whole process as I am, ergo, he doesn't love me enough. Cue the friends to keep me in check.

On Fear
