Ok, so the mail has not arived yet today so there is still a chance.

I am so impatient, just need to chill!

Does anyone know what the "peak season" is for filing K! Visa's? Hopefully it's not September. Just wondering if they seem to go faster during a certain part of the year.

I keep checking my bank account to see if they've cashed the check yet. XD This waiting thing is so stressful and we're not even anywhere near the /really/ stressful waits yet. Mou.

09/10/09 - I-129F received and signed for by INS Express Mail.

09/11/09 - NOA1 notice date.

They cashed our check 3 days after they received our packet. So, they will proabably cash yours today or tomorrow. We'll think good thoughts for you!

2nd attempt at walk-in biometrics @ Salt Lake City office -- SUCCESS!: 07/28/2010

EAD card production ordered!: 08/09/2010

AP approved!: 08/09/2010

2nd EAD card production ordered e-mail: 08/12/2010

AP arrived!: 08/16/2010

3rd EAD card production ordered e-mail: 08/16/2010

EAD arrived!: 08/19/2010

Received interview letter in the mail: 09/13/2010

Green card interview -- APPROVED!: 10/15/2010

Green card received: 10/25/2010

The whole AOS process took almost exactly 4 months ... not too shabby!

Yay! Check was cashed today! And I tried to search the forums for a way to find the case number on the back of the canceled check but neither of the numbers seem to work. It's so hard being patient. XD And not being a naive bundle of jitters.

07/01/10: Emailed the embassy and discovered the adress on record is incorrect; Packet 3 was emailed to me as a PDF attachment
22/02/10: Emailed my checklist and DS-230
18/03/10: Medicals
23/03/10: Interview: Approved
25/03/10: Picking up passport
21/09/10: POE NY

I feel like it's Christmas, and the nerves are just twisting my tummy into pieces.

I have deciphered my case number (I think) from the smudgy print on the back of my check. Heh.

Best of luck to all of waiting to receive your NOA1! I was totally excited to receive it too. Took a picture of it with my phone and sent it to me fiance!

If you can make out the numbers on the back of your check, the lady at USCIS says they will start with WAC or another 3-letter code followed by ten numbers. I was on the phone with my bank trying to get them to find such a number for me and we weren't able to figure it out. Luckily I got the NOA1 the sameday.

Yes, we are currently obsessing over the website hoping someone will "touch" our petition.

I'm thinking good thoughts for us all!

It took me forever to figure out thoses numbers on the back of the check. I finally printed out the check and went over it with a yellow highlighter (Trick I learned a long time ago in my programming classes) figured out what it was and typed it into the USCIS website. It Worked!!! I discoveed quickly why they don't include names on the website cause I hit a bunch of people with other visas. Good Luck to all!!!
