Good Morning everyone! I am sorry to be absent so much. I am thinking about you all. I know that there are interviews coming up and I am losing track and feel horrible about it. Things have been a bit hectic since Antonio arrived with the wedding planning. And until he has a US driver's license he is stuck at home until I get off work everyday, and I feel guilty living him alone to get on the computer in the evening.

The wedding will be March 20th the first day of spring, and I am wrestling with friends with good intentions with this "First Day of Spring" theme. I am having trouble being gentle with some of the OVERLY spring ideas.. If they had their way, the guests would expect the Easter Bunny to jump out of the wedding cake! DOH! Oh Why oh Why did his parents decide to fly over..? I would SOOOO be in Vegas, baby! And we have to do it all over again in Italy in September..

I have an idea for a gift for your honey(s) that I discovered back in December. You can contact your US Senator and request a flag be flown over the Capital and they will send you the flag and a certificate honoring someone. I think it was $19.00 for the cost of the flag. If you request them early enough you can request the flag be flown on a specific day, like for instance the interview date (and of course this will be the same day everyone gets approval for the K-1!!)

Good Luck to you all, and especially Kjenkins right now. I really need to get a spreadsheet to keep up!

Awe, they not so bad, they kind of look like a big sugar glider. Some people even keep them for pets, maybe they are just looking for a new home. :P

Yeahhhh, no. That's not what's on my back porch.

Okay, okay I need to vent, I am freaking out a little....

It's my own stupidity, because I assumed my police certificate expired within 3 months, and I was waiting to hear about an interview date.. so I put it off...

to find out now that I'm ready to get one (either Monday or so this week), that they are behind by 120 days of receipt date......my interview is in 55 days...

I'm cutting everything so close, I can't afford to miss any documents before going to the interview...

oh..my..oh my..

Gaynto, glad to see you back! Congrats on getting to move on with the wedding.

Umm, that is not as cute Kayla, but it's not too bad looking really.

Maggie, I can feel your panic. My son sent the final package to his fiancee and she still has not gotten it (she leaves for Dubai next Wed)

Why was it sent later in the game? He was waiting on last years W-2 to come in. The package contains the w-2, letter from his employer, bank records, and paystubs.

Hopefully, it will all fall in place for you and they can get it your paper to you sooner than they think.

I hope Krystal and Glenoi are prepared for the interview. Good Luck! :star:

I had my medical today, a day earlier and I am happy for that. David will send me the papers tomorrow, I fulfilled all forms, I had my police certificates, my international birth certificate...and now I am waiting on interview.:whistle:

Hope it will be at the first week of March...and then...if everything will be good...my honey will come around April 16, a 2 months from now, for us. (F)(L) Hardly waiting to be with him again. We intending to stay a few days in Zagreb and then going home, this time for good. :star::luv:

HI EVERYONE!!!!!!

OMG, I can't say how much I miss you guys. I'm not staying in a tourist area so internet is quite a distance away. I feel SO damn good to see you guys rooting for me. Sorry I took so long to check in. Flight was ok thank God and yes, it's a good thing I changed my flight.

I'm not worried or nervous about the interview because a few Jamicans had interviews this week and they were all approved, my consulate doesn't seem harsh at all. So by 10 am tomorrow I'll text Kayla, or better yet call her and scream in her ears (or voicemail) APPROVED!

Thank you guys for all the support and I can't wait to post the good news and pass the baton on to Jenn. Jenn when are you leaving?

Maggie I understand you completely...I am crazy about the papers, always afraid that I will miss something or write something wrong. I used to check everything for few times specially now when we need to have so many papers.

I hope everything be ok and you will have all you need on time.

Maggie, I like the idea about paying extra to get it expedited. Will they do that? Maybe if you can convince them of the urgency of the situation, and tell them that you were informed that you couldn't get it until now because it expires.

A&D Congrats on getting the medical out of the way!

Jenn, you are just too sweet!!! (I had to throw that in. I'm still touched about your post last night)

Good Luck Krystal!!! (Love to see a confident woman!)

Krystle, if you read this before your interview, you better do everything you can to let me know how things go! Text or call, it doesn't matter!!!!

So I got my new computer today. The screen on this thing is huge. I was a nervous wreck the rest of the day because I NEVER spend this much money on myself. It feels so wrong, but it's what I wanted and needed. So bleh!
