Dviera, PacienciayFe and myself. Here's to us, hopefully we'll get some good news soon or that they're saving the best for last. I just HATE that the weekend is approaching. But let me get back to work! Again, goodluck to us all waiting for our NOA2

And here's to AlexBarrow and Gaynto as well... I've been waiting to see thier's just as much as yours!!!

And if I forgot anyone.. please forgive me..

Karen... you really did amaze me that you had the patience to do all that. I just couldn't do it.. but, like you.. all this stuff has kept me from my real work.. and I find I spend way too much time on here!! I really have to work on getting back to my very strict time management!! My friends always said I am ####### about it.. but not since I found this site!

Oh Ney.. thanks for the nice message :) I am glad to hear your son is doing a little better, but hoping you will get some really good news soon.

I love ya man, thanks for keeping your eye on us! I am soooo tired of checking the website... then checking the mail when I get home in case we were in the mystery never updated in the system pile. I am so ready to move on to the next phase of waiting.

Well off to sharpen a knife so I can donate a toe or whatever appendage they are asking for this week..

Nope, nothing for me! I'm starting to sound like a broken record now.

PacienciayFe, Alexbarrow, Gatno..... Nothing? Not even a touch????

My fiance said uscis is trying to kill us by making us wait so long! I mean seriously, are they busy drinking coffee and racing to dunkin donuts like cops do in bad areas?

Sighed.... Here's to a long weekend. I'm still hopeful for next week!

Long time follower... first time poster...

The notice date of our NOA1 is September 22nd, 2009. While we've remained patient for NOA2, I've noticed that that many filers before and after us have more to update on their profiles in terms of case history than we do and so doubt is starting to creep in despite not receiving any requests for information. When I go to check the status of our case on the USCIS site (https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/Dashboard.do) it still remains just showing the initial review.

I'm wondering if anyone provide me a link or give me directions to on how to tell if our I-129F has been "touched" or at least just to verify the link I posted above is where everyone is getting their "touches". I seem to see "touched" quite frequently throughout these threads. Is this something only visible to the Vermont center as I don't recall seeing "touched" in the updates by people who filed through California.

Many thanks in advance to those that can help and congratulations all around to those of us this similar journey!

The California Service Center is still moving at the same pace. Vermont is up to 2 weeks ahead of California. If you go to the thread for September filers at CSC you'll see that many people are in the same boat as you. I hate to say it, but I wouldn't expect you to have any touches or a NOA2 for at least another month. Heaven knows we here shouldn't have had our NOA2's for another month, maybe 2.

I've said it a thousand times, but I don't think it's fair that VSC is going so fast and leaving CSC in the dust, but it is what it is and we can't change it. :(

Thanks for the heads up. I didn't know there was a separate thread for the CSC filers.

Fair or not, is not for us to decide. Good things come to those who wait, right? I'm just glad to be in the game. :)

Welcome!! The USCIS website is where you can see touches. If they touch your case the last update field will change.

Hi Jay and welcome!

Follow the link Ney posted for you and you will be able to see when your case was updated last (touch).

The reason you havent seen touches on people from california is that the CSC is running a little behind the vermont center. So I dont think any of us really had any touches lately. But things have started moving again in the last couple of weeks, so that could change soon.

I see your fiancée is Canadian... Have you guys checked out the canadian forum too? great source of info!

Don't forget to update your time line! Once things start moving at CSC, other filers are going to be looking at everyone's time lines to see how quickly things happened! I know I look at everyone's!! :)

Once you update it, it will also give you an "estimated" time you can expect NOA2 based on the information entered by other CSC filers.

Good afternoon! I am so thankful for Halloween candy... it is getting me through the day. And, I am marking my calendar for next year for Kayla to come throw pumpkins at my door.

Jenn, did you find out how to confirm that the consulate has received your file? The Australian embassy phone number is a pay for use line!! And, when you call them, they tell you that they don't handle k-1 inquiries and you should send an email! Then, when you send an email you get an auto-reply that says you will not be contacted because they don't give out any information!

Ugh...
