yeah, i just called about the same thing. kat said she is sending to her supervisor to get updated. still couldn't explain why we could pay when the iv bill had not been invoiced. but i have now received 2 invoiced emails

Hey guys n gals,

I paid my IV Fee Bill as soon as it was available to be paid online and now on signing in (the invoice page) shows as NOT PAID.... But the receipt page shows PAID and I'm able to print a document cover sheet and all. I called NVC and the operator told me I had paid before the IV Fee Bill was generated. I was under the assumption that we could not pay the IV Fee Bill until NVC had generated it. Has anyone been through a similar experience? Oh and the latest operator I spoke to asked to me to send in the statement from the Bank showing that the payment had been taken out. Will this extend the processing time? Any input is greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

God Bless you all!

Actually, billing is done through a 3rd party and the bill shows up around 10 PM then NVC generates the e-mail telling you to pay it the next day. If the money has been taken from your account and cleared already, keep checking the payment website and you can call NVC but be sure to ask for a Supervisor... The Supervisor can put a request into the system to manually process the payment without sending in all the stuff... But only a supervisor can do it.

This happens every so often and is the one reason some people asked if they should wait for the e-mail to be generated before paying... I guess it depends. It should lear and be ready to print your cover sheet in a day or two...

Give Generously, Live Fully, Laugh Often, Love Completely...AND PRAY ALWAYS!!!

He is home!!!

Hello everyone this evening, I just called the avr and talked to an operator, I got the message that they received my checklist that was sent on the 10th. But when I asked the operator they said there is no record of it in their system and that it must be in the building somewhere and not processed but if so why does it come up in avr and not in their system?

Not sure if this explains it... But one time I called the 2 days after my ds230 package was signed for and the operator told me, yes they received the 230 and it will be processed... I got the false RFE the next day so I called, they told me that they show "something" was received 3 days earlier but cannot tell what it was? So I told them that the day before they told me it was the 230. A supervisor told me that immediatly after they receive something it gets registered what it is but when they start to actually process it, they can no longer see what exactly is being processed with the file??? Not sure if that is true, but it calmed me down at that moment...

Like I said, not sure if this might explain that... However, I would be content knowing that they were busy processing your file and I hope for a case complete soon...

I see a lot of us here tired of waiting, I hope this wisdom of patience will help to everyone anxiously obsessed or irritated - first do everything what depends on you, and if you did absolutely all you could, then submit to the will of God - or Universe, don't demand from God, don't be depressed over His choices, but believe and visualize (or pray and belive He will take care of you) about the very best outcome. and be grateful everyday for God/Universe gave you someone to love.

Well... If getting to the United States will make you change your personality and cause you depression, in my hopinion is not worth it... Mind is well stay where you are, healt for me is the main concern....

Everyone here is just getting frustrated, specially because most of us have been married for several years, and there's really absolutely no reason why the Government gives you the right to do it, but make you wast at least a year in this limbo situation, and plus, to get some information you really have to beg on your knees.... THat's just not fair....

My advice is :"IF THIS WHOLE THING CAUSES ANYONE HEALT OR PSYCHO PROBLEM, leave it alone, you can be happy no matter where you are"

Just my 2 cents :star:
