New letter from USCIS, in the letter they gave me another case # and they are forwarding my case to the Customer Assitance Office. Has anyone seen one like this. Not sure if I am getting closer to an approval or going the other way??

Dec. 4/07... I-751 sent to NSC

May 23/08... 10-Yr. PR Card arrives in the mail

Mar. 22/11.... N-400 sent to AZ

June 27/11..... Interview - PASSED!!!

July 12/11..... Oath Ceremony

It reads to me like a generic front desk response (albiet a late one) to an enquiry you made and was forwarded on to the Customer Assistance Office which is basically just the National Customer Service Center for a response from them. Not sure how to read the different case # being assigned. Have you tried checking that case # with the automated system to see if it brings anything up?

That is interesting, has anyone filed on infopass and or gone to the local office to see if they can provide more information. Well I hope the best for you they seem to be processing applications a little faster now. I guess because the holidays are over. :clock:

August 16, 2005 NOA1

October 7, 2005 Waiting and waiting and waiting

October 11, 2005 NOA2 yeeeaaah we are approved

October 13, 2005 Petition left for NVC, where on our way now

October 14, 2005 Touched Again. I don't get it

October 17, Recieved NOA2 Via Snail mail

October 24, RecievedNVC case #

October 27, Petition Shipped to Embassy

October 31, Embassy received petition

November 1, Embassy called to set up fingerprint appointment

November 4, Fingerprint appointment

November 23, Fingerprint check results came in - Thumbs up

November 30, Fiance picks up packet 3

December 1, Medical exam

December 5, Call embassy to set up interview date

December 5, Pick up medical results

December 28, embassy tells us they screwed up

January 23, Interview date

january 23, Need a waiver 601 and 212

January 31, Turned in Waivers

February 27, Waiver sent to Athens, (Took long enough)

It's looking like your case was passed off to someone that is unaware that you are K1 and awaiting your NOA2. Since your case is still at the CSC, it is likely encountering additional scrutiny relating to background checking. I would ignore that letter, and call the CSC, with your WAC number, and beneficiary birthdate. Also, if you've not already done so, contact your US Senator's office, or Congressperson for assistance.
